Hate will create more hate, revenge will just create counter revenge. It never ends until one or both are dead, and if you do win then what? will the price be worth it?
(sometimes no one wins and you both agree you’ve lost it too much and you create peace. Then what was the point of the whole thing to begin with? You go to war as long as it’s not too pricey? You shouldn’t go to war unless it’s something truly worth dying for.)
