Thanks for a great year, Mick. The Year of Clark is correct. No player has ever done what Caitlin has in one year. That is, smashed a 54 year old NCAA scoring record (that is for both men and women) AND then smashed as many records in the pro as a rookie. No one has done it. Not A'ja. Not Angel. Not Sue Bird. Not Candace. Definitely not Swoopes. Our girl Caitlin is one -of-one.
I looked up her scoring. CC was fifth in points in her rookie season, and first in assists. Kelsey Mitchell was 6th in points, which was her best year as a pro. Michell was about 2 points behind Clark. We're supposed to believe she wasn't good enough for the Olympics.
I can’t see anyone ever beating her in points scored or created, which to me is an important stat that is often overlooked because volume scorers are usually not doing volume assists as well. In 2025, assists will likely go up and turnovers will go down as her team improves around her. If someone can beat her records, that’s great! It gives her a goal to break those records. And it gives us more high level basketball players to watch.
I think CC was my biggest gift this year. I can’t wait for 2025 starting with January 11 thru February 1 where all the trading gets done. Then the draft and the team starts getting ready. Then the season that is likely to be better than 2024. CC had a great year but I bet she does better this coming year.
CC22 is an OG basketball machine. There are very few players, men or women, that I've ever seen that has such a killer instinct, and that's what makes her great.
CC and Iowa won three consecutive Big 10 tournament championships. She scored 30 points in the second half and OT in the final against Nebraska. The expectations on CC and that senior team was off the charts!
I missed the Jordan rookie year. Luckily I caught the rise of Tiger Woods from his second and third US Amateur. I even then it was much see tv. Caitlin Clark has been on my radar since her last two college years. Her athletic abilities is awe inspiring.
Happy New Year! I’m glad you seem to be feeling better. You are doing a wonderful job with your channel. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the 2925 season. Do you ever have guests on your show? If so, how about teaming up to share your thoughts with Adrienne Ross. I think it would be an exciting show!
Been saying that since her debut game it’s mick talks cc. As he would say fair play he makes good money off yapping about her daily since Clark has a cult fan base
Leonie Fiebich, a rookie by the way, was very Important is helping the New York Liberty to a WNBA Title. So she was really the ONLY rookie that took over the 2024 Basketball World.
Not true. She has won 3 big 10 championships. She carried an Iowa team on her back to two Championship games. And 18 million people tuned it to see if she could pull it off. The win of veiwership is almost bigger than winning a single game.
@@Benzy-d3uShe is surely winning in life. 11 million this year ain't bad for a 22 year old. I am guessing the same can be said of yourself of never winning anything?
@@Benzy-d3u You realize she plays a team sport right? I've been watching the NFL for nearly sixty years, and Dan Marino clearly was one of the greatest players I've ever seen in all that time, but he never won a title. However, it didn't diminish his greatness on the football field. Same with CC. If you can't understand that this woman is a true basketball phenom, then you don't understand the sport.
Now all of a sudden, winning isn't important? Go ask Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem, Lebron, or Curry if winning championships isn't important to their legacies and how people view them.
No, it was the YEAR a Fandom took over the basketball World. CC won nothing meaningful in 2024. Now if she wins Titles moving forward, then a REAL conversation can be had.
@@natureredux1957It's just my opinion just like your opinion of her not winning anything meaningful. Like I said she may not ever win a championship but definitely winning in life.
Lol. You're talking about her teams. Individually, she crushed anyone. Broke a 54 year-old record in the NCAA and more records than anyone ever in one year in the W. Who has ever done that? Not A'ja. Not Candace. Not Sue Bird. Not Angel. Definitely not Sheryl Swoopes. May your negativity haunt you in 2025. You've just cursed yourself. Besides Caitlin Clark, I don't know anybody who has Won so many Awards or broken that many Records in her Rookie year.
@Murph2-e5z She broke the WNBA all-time record for most turnovers committed in a season. Is that the record you're talking about?
Caitlin Clark is a paradigm shift.

I can't wait to see what she does in 2025, they can't ignore her anymore.
They'll try. She doesn't fit their marketing mold, so they'll diminish everything she does.
One can argue she was never "ignored" maybe tried to dismiss her accomplishments, but they spent a lot of time and nonsense doing that.

Mick, you really shouldn’t skip over the BIG 10 Tournament Championship.
That tournament is actually a big deal. People skim over that way too often
CC and Iowa won three consecutive Big 10 tournament championships. She scored 30 points in the second half and OT in the final against Nebraska. The expectations on CC and that senior team was off the charts!
That was a crazy game. They were down like 6 or 7 with a minute to go and came back to force OT and won, if I remember correctly.
Caitlin Clark is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Caitlin brought happiness and joy to my life. I'm 64 years old. Great and wonderful woman
The best there ever was and the best the ever will be Caitlyn Clark😊
Stephanie better let her shoot the logo 3s and if she does she'll be the first sophomore billionaire.

2024 The year CC made the WNBA about actual basketball. Boy are they pissed😂
I would expect that in 25 CC will average 25-30 points per game.
No way dude: Kate Martin played a HELL of a good game against LSU. For real.
