To try and change a person's NATURE is a very serious violation of the person and thus is banned in several states in America. It is time to realize that we now live in the 21st century where the myths and mistakes of the Middle Ages are now past. I hope Tom can flourish and grow as the person that he is. His sexual orientation has nothing to do with anything. God does NOT make mistakes; all people of any sexual orientation are God's creation. Let's not in our narrow-minded understanding and limited religious views ever forget that. I am so proud of you Tom, and so grateful for your courage and the hope and example that you give other young people who struggle in an ignorant society.
