- Smart grids? Erik Pihl, internationally respected expert on solar energy, see great potential in electricity grids that can help us with the right incentives to make good use of energy. Through clever design and information technology this kind of interlinked systems can take into consideration our resources as well as our needs. For Erik Pihl, there are also parallels between electricity grids and our current world economy...
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Brilliant Talk!
Thanks Erik! Brilliant!
very interesting. well done engineer
Good Conversation
Brilliant discusion
In my opinion, the US should construct a superconducting hub, to eliminate distance between production and consumption of electricity - as part of Grid 2 point zero.
Agree that we should cancel all private debt that has been dishonorably created by the private banking industry that seized control of gov't, shut down fiscal policy (gov't issuance of currency to invest, interest-free), suppressed wages, forcing people to live on credit these past 40 yrs.
UBIs are intended cut the social safety net out altogether but the FJG keeps social services in place while guaranteeing work for anyone, like FDR's CCC.
Pirate Bay hahahaha
No thanks.
How smart is exchanging fossil fuel pollution for electrosmog? Do we really want to live in Alexaworld? Powering the electrical grid down worldwide as a form of control? Powering down our cars, our heat, our phones, etc. as a form of control? Sterility as a form of control?
