Salute Tito Boy for interrupting candidates when the discussion goes into "drift" mode which does not answer questions directly. Listen to the "how do you do that" answers and it really helped open my eyes on who makes sensible answers with plans and valid points to those who seem like making statements from thin air or following scripts. Kudos to candidates who admit about not knowing everything because it simply displays their willingness to learn and listen first rather than throw answers they know nothing about.
This interview made me realize why i have to vote for BBM.. thank you for this interview.

Tamang iboto, may sapat na kaalaman, edukasyon at kakayahan, para malutas ang mga suliranin ng bansa. Malinis walang bahid ng korupsyon. Hindi nangangarap na di nagawa ng lahat na nakaraang masmarunong na pangulo sa pagsulong ng Unity. Abogada, ekonomista.
Kaya dapat iboto yung hindi singungaling, yung nakapagtapos at hindi yung nakapagtapos “daw” ng oxford.
At syempre yung hindi nanghuhusga kung may inuurungan, yung nang tawag na bias ang isang journalist kahit wala naman ebidensya ng pagiging bias.

Please, if you're a BBM supporter like me, or whichever candidate you support, don't be narrow-minded. Instead, let's be objective but also observe and listen to each candidate's plans in order to be enlightened. At the end of the day, the country's future is in our hands, so please make sensible decisions.

I was hoping the questions were answered directly. Good thing that tito boy was able to help the candidate and re direct their answers to what the question was. After watching all of them I believe I have chosen the Best Candidate whom I have chosen from the begining. Yesterday when i watch BBM interviews.. andaming mga hate speech kay BBM., then nun nagsabi si BBM n no to negative campaign... wla aq masyado nakita na hate speech ngaun dito., why? Upon watching this interview as well as BBM's, I would say that hats off to BBM! His answers were very clear and realistic towards the end. Gusto ko lang ishare yung takeaways and tumatak sakin based on their interview.
First, about sa COVID19, sobrang ganda ng naging sagot ni BBM, the virus is deadly and unpredictable hence the first thing that must be done is to get vaccinated, protection against the virus must be the top priority para makakilos na ulit ang mga tao and makapagwork. While Leni focused on her accomplishments and halos umikot nalang doon, and sa totoo lang, what people need NOW ay kung papaano na ulit tayo babangon and the key is to get vaccinated and job comes next which is tukoy na tukoy ni BBM. Second, about the abortion, very well said din ang sagot ni BBM unlike sa sagot ni Leni na halatang hesitant pa in that matter. Third, about pornography in socmed, napakarealistic ng sagot ni BBM compared to Leni's. He stated the most basic thing to do to prevent the negative effects of pornography to children, and it is to talk and explain to our children what are the truths about pornography, he basically stated that it should comes first in our home/parent's teachings, na kahit awkward o nakakatawa pag usapan ay dapat pag usapan parin, while kay Leni, puro accountability, dapat daw maging accountable yung socmed sa mga contents posted, that there should be a way na hindi maaaccess ng kabataan ang mga adult sites, which is not very realistic dahil sobrang daling pekeen ng identity/age sa internet. Lastly, is the war on drugs. Sobrang natuwa ako sa sagot ni BBM, he's very aware na sobrang daming addict na talaga that's why sila ang dapat unang bigyang pansin by expanding the rehabilitation facilities dahil meron na ngang on going procedures against drugs, kaya nakakatuwang marinig na para naman sa mga lulong sa drugs ang bibigyang pansin, on the other hand, Leni still focuses on how to fight drug user/suppliers which does not impress me at all dahil meron naman ng on going procedures for that and masyadong naiwan sa issue yung mga addict na kelangang tulungan.
Additionally, I really don't like it when Leni talks negatively on the other candidates, habang tumatagal kasi ay nawawala na ang humbleness and humility sakanya dahil dito. Mas maigi siguro na ipagyabang nya nalang ang accomplishments nya kesa magsalita ng negative sa kapwa kandidato, afterall campaigning is promoting yourself to the people! JUST SAYING!!
And she is too idealistic. The word "sisiguraduhin ko" sounds so incapable. I couldn't put my trust on it. She is full of empty promises. She is pretty though.

Watching these one on one Presidential interviews only strengthened my faith in my chosen candidate. Not only did he answer with sincerity but you can also see the humbleness that he exudes. I encourage people to read the published documents and listen to the way each of them speak and the content of their words. No to negative campaigning and yes to unity.

He is leading a very problematic and mannerless people from this alone you will have an idea about his nature.
Supporter or not, as voters we must be critical on how each candidate answers every question thrown at them. For me, here are the things I watch out for:
1. AWARENESS. - The candidate must be able to demonstrate his or her understanding of the issue at hand. He or she must be able to expound on the problem given, and not merely rely on the data already read by the interviewer.
2. STAND. - He or she must provide a categorical stand on each issue. If the question is answerable by a simple YES or NO, then such must be given.
3. RECORD. - He or she must be able to provide what he or she has already done with regard to the issue at hand. This is a crucial step and must never be skipped.
4. SOLUTION. - He or she must then lay out clearly and concisely his or her plan of action to address the issue. MOTHERHOOD STATEMENTS NOT ALLOWED.
5. END IN MIND. - This may be optional but certainly an added bonus if the candidate is able to project what it is he or she is aiming to accomplish in terms of goals, deliverables, outputs, among others.
6. TROUBLESHOOT. - This is also optional but there may be times that the candidate is asked how he or she will ensure that the plans that are set will be accomplished despite roadblocks.
It's high time we elevate the political discourse. Hope this guide helps.

Leni addressing "gobyerno" instead of "kaming nasa gobyerno" sounded like she is more of a critique than a person showing leadership.

I am a BBM supporter. and listening to VP Leni, seems like align naman sila 2 but lets face the truth that what the philippines need now is a strong leader, with vision that is firm, listening to her, I see her just saying things... na parang sabog ung ideas. wala concrete plans. I am a OFW and BBM vision of NO OFW is duable. the issue on Pandemic, vaccines! and move on... hindi na kaya ng pinoy ang forever lockdown. The issue on mining... with a stong legislation on mining we can be one of the biggest contributors or nickel in ASIA... The issue on abortion, the issue on west philippine sea, engage more, ... I voted for Miriam last Presidential Election (her running mate for VP is BBM) and I voted for BBM this year. I believe that our country needs this kind of leader today. We need to consistently progress what Pres. Duterte had already started. I don't want negative campaigning. This is not helping to a country who needs unity now. Accdg to late Senator Miriam Defensor, "What kind of philosophy to say the sin of the father is the sin of the son."

Sorry but it's the other way around. Concrete ang kay Vp, may back-up na, tested from small population(needs reinforcement in larger talaga). Example sa env'tal issue (mining) ibang iba ang sagot ni Vp kay BBM. anyway, it's your choice.

I lived and experienced the year the Marcoses were removed from power and the Philippines was governed by a succession of presidents whose primary concern was to enrich the wealthy. The Duterte administration has fundamentally altered the way the government should prioritize, which is the Filipino people. Apart from former President Marcos, no previous president has demonstrated this level of commitment and devotion for the country. With this, I only have one point to make: everyone can be president, but not everyone will serve the people and fulfil the mission.
apart from FEM and Duterte there's ramon magsasay, possibly the best president we ever had don't get me wrong both fem and duterte are great but ramon's era is the true golden age, economy is blooming fast post ww2 (3 php to 1 usd) personally investigated corrupt politicians from the previous administration (thus we becoming the 2nd cleanest countries in asia in his term) and alot more but guess what he didn't even finished his term he died on a helicopter crash..

I watched the series of these interviews to be enlightened about the platforms of every candidate. No matter how much i tried to be open minded and unbiased, parang naguluhan talaga ko dito.
As a farmer, I appreciate her 1 stone-2 birds program. Help the farmer and government to provide cheap food to those in need.

We can all see her that she is really struggling to address the issues that are presented. She is all over the place answering those questions. As a lawyer should have the trait of being clear to her stands. What I see she lacks of it.

This just shows that you don't have to be a "respected" veteran and award winning journalist to conduct a very conclusive yet sensible presidential interview. Kudos to you Mr. Boy Abunda and to your team! This series is trully an eye-opener to most of our kababayans....
I'm thankful for these series of presidential interviews that gave the Filipinos the opportunity to know each candidate thoroughly. People must watch each interview until the last part because it is still very important. Most especially, upon watching, we must have an open mind to clearly assess each candidate, not basing on stereotypes nor emotions.
I haven't decided who to vote yet, but I saw someone who is close to my ideals, though I know he/she is imperfect (and yes, we all are).
As for me, I will vote for someone who is proactive, not those who keep on blaming others for the occuring problems in the country. Someone who doesn't indulge in negative campaign, rather encourages unity. Someone who can communicate his/her thoughts very well (of course he/she must also possess wide repertoire of knowledge necessary for presidency). Someone who has specific, realistic, and concrete plans for the country, because anyone can easily say what their goals and aspirations are, but cannot vividly articulate 'HOW' they will do it. Most especially, someone who is God-fearing.
Well, God bless the Philippines. I pray the deserving candidate will win this coming election. God speed!

Great interview. Reading all the comments shows that, iba iba talaga interpretasyon ng mga tao. Either nakikinig being open-minded o hindi dahil set na sila na whatever their candidate says is great. Madami nagsasabi respect and listen. That's the best way to watch this interviews so you can make informed decision on who to vote.

Looking at the face of boy abunda, mas satisfied sya sa sagot ni bbm at ping. Hindi nya kailangan irephase pa ang questions. Yun follow up questions nya kela bbm at ping ay para mas maexplain pa mabuti or para may matutunan pa sa answer ng candidate. Pero dito kay leni ang follow up question nya is like a reminder of the question at parang tituturo nya ang mas important point na dapat sagutin ni leni kasi lumulihis ang sagot.
