- KASEI Extended Pole Hedge Trimmer Unboxing and assembly. I ordered this Trimmer on EBay after waiting for My local Power Equipment Store that couldn't get the Trimmer I originally wanted. (STIHL) (On back order for over 6 Months)The Stihl was $585... The KASEI was 279.00 ! After using this unit for a few hours, I can honestly say I like it.

How do you string up the string trimmer part it’s been harder to get it to put out more string
Also I never got the pole saw bar and chain when I got mine
On eBay it says 13 ‘ is this one 13’ long?
I was thinking of getting the 63CC model. The only thing holding me back is the 30:1 mixture that doesn't match my other tools at 50:1 and the blade length seems a bit shorter that other; for example, the Stihl. But to have the articulating head for less than 1/2 the cost of the Stihl maybe worth it. What are your thoughts 2 years later? Thanks
I think this tool would work for homeowner use just fine. The Sthil may be better for commercial use.
BTW... I use OPTI2 oil in ALL of my 2 stroke machines. 4oz oil to 1 gal gas.
@@breakerbroke23 Thanks!
why it is sooo vibration..
Just bought the same unit today but the whole kit with the saw as well. Seams like a great little motor. Any update on how the unit is doing?
The motor runs like a champ, starts easy ( I use Opti2 ) never fails. The hedge cutter attachment is what I use and has been good, I did however break off two teeth on the end. I hit some chain link fence... A few times.:)
breakerbroke23 thanks for getting back to me. I agree the motor is a true champ. I've been using the hedge trimmer attachment for over a week straight for getting rid of blackberry bushes works awesome. The 30:1 mix is kind of weird.
Jakie Kraj produkcji? Jakie są modele kos spalinowych?
how about those Clone OHC 4 stroke trimmer of Honda or Huskvarna
Joni English not sure on those.
I have never worked with one
Go for a sthil combo system
So how is this holding up since it's over a year later ?
Not to bad. I'm thinking of doing a year end video on this cutter. Stay tuned.
They're no longer available on eBay .
Hi there. Now that you've had the product for a while, is it still holding up well? I'm wondering about purchasing it soon for the hedge trimmer component.
Thanks!
seems to be holding up well for residential use. Not sure if it would hold up in commercial usage.
Thanks. It's for a friend's property, not commercial. We'll give it a try
how weight?
Maybe 9+ lbs
Interested to see how it holds up. I am thinking of buying the same piece for my backyard and some properties i take care of.
So far so good, maybe 10+hrs use and works like new. The engine is very powerful. Thanks for watching.
Mine should be here tomorrow, hopefully it works out well also
If you dont mind... Where did you buy it?
Ebay, from BigJack tools i think was the sellers name.
Been using mine pretty often since i bought it and still seems to be working well. It is a little tricky to get the two halves together on mine and it definitely is heavy, but other than that I think it was worth the money.
How has it worked out for you has it lasted.
I sold it 2 years ago.
@@breakerbroke23 I have that articulated hedge trimmer but the Japanese virgin and cuts extremely well.
@@breakerbroke23whas it bad ?
Headge trimmer is to small of a cut wish there was a longer one
is this a 2 stroke Engine ?????
Yes
what is the mix 32:1 ?
I think it is 32;1. I will look in the manual to make sure and let you know if the factory says different. I use OPTI 2 smokeless oil in all of my machines and I mix that at 32;1 or abouts. ( 4.0z to a gallon )
Nope I tried different typing and nothing maybe they took it off eBay
I sent you a link to a KASEI but it was a pole Saw, oooops so I took it down. Yea its like they are gone, none to be found other than 1 pole Saw. Thats strange. My Trimmer works well, After a few tanks of Gas it still runs good and cuts well. One draw back..... Its heavy !
would be nice if it was a 4 STROKE MODEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A review would be a lot better
Had one it’s ok but not the best
You are correct, I did however get my Money's worth having completed some rather large jobs around my 6 acers.
I now have a Sthil pole trimmer and it is very good. My Kasei starts and runs when cold better than the Sthil :)
Bought one on your recommendation and it is SOOO heavy you can hardly use it for more than a few minutes. Useless for overhead trimming it's so heavy. Ridiculous. It's like there's a 9HP outboard motor on the end of it. Unless you workout in the weight room daily forget this trimmer.
Hahaha, yes it is a workout but it worked for me and rather well. I no longer own it but was needing it a few days ago.:)
