Looking forward to returning to this when the dust clears and we see the results of the brave first batch of test takers! 🤠

Hello, Angela. Traditional GMAT will be accepted for applying in 2024. Will be GMAT completed replaced for the GMAT. How is the transition? Thanks!

Hi! They've been a little quiet on the details, but as far as we're aware it'll be GMAT Focus only from '24 (they don't even talk about it in their FAQ! So subject to change?)

Can we take the regular gmat in 2024? Or will we not have that option anymore
And let’s say I’m applying in 2025, will business schools still accept the current gmat or will they prefer gmat focus?

They're phasing it out, so no more old GMAT after (I think, you'll need to check) January

I know this isn’t exactly what you’re asking, but they do say that the GMAT scores are valid for five years. Maybe they will honor that timeframe.

    Hey I have a question!
Which GMAT will the b school accept for their deferred MBA program for candidates applying in 2024?

I think HBS actually DID mention that they’ll accept the new GMAT for the 2+2 candidates applying in 2024! Might want to double check for other schools though! Hope this helps :)

Hi! As the other commenter said, you'll need to check for each school. It depends!

@@weehstudies7495 2+2 is only student who completes undergrad/master program. It’s not for experienced or professionals.

But the "game" changes for everyone, so if not having the material makes it harder, it makes it harder for everyone; So the percentiles will reveal the truth.

2+2 candidates applying in '24 can use the new GMAT Focus exam. Hope that helps!
