I'm from Austria. Whenever you taste a German dish and try to put the taste into words, I know what it tastes like. ;-)

I'd recommend you give them 2 days notice for the pork knuckle and go on a Friday or Saturday night, it tasted orgasmic!!

You never eat a dumpling by itself, You just tear it apart and enjoy it with the gravy.

Thank you for telling me however when I sample food, I like to eat everything individually to see the flavours and textures.

"Frankfurter Würste" are only called "Frankfurter" in Austria. In Germany they are called "Wiener Würste".
Explanation: In the 19th century a butcher from Frankfurt in Germany emigrated to Vienna in Austria. In Vienna, this butcher invented a sausage that received awards at international trade fairs and was valued throughout Europe.
For the Germans it was the "Wiener Wurst" because it came from Vienna in Austria.
For the Austrians it was the "Frankfurter Wurst" because the butcher came from Frankfurt in Germany.
    PS.: Wien = Vienna

Thank you for the background story. I was in Wien in 2006, I visited Schönbrunn Palace, Mariahilfer Strasse and a few other places, beautiful city, very clean. I loved my holiday there ❤️

Mariahilfer Strasse is now a pedestrian zone.
I am glad that you enjoyed my hometown. Greetings from Vienna.

I could eat that much, easily, when I was 18. I used to go to Hometown Buffet, and once, I ate so much that I almost threw up all over everything.

I'm almost 36 and I could eat all that by myself, but I'm a nice guy, so I share it with my wife. Stay tuned for video with the behind the scenes and deleted footage from King Ludwig's.

I enjoy your videos but so many German restaurants, I would like to see a little more diversity in the food you review. Good video nontheless.

Thank you for the feedback, this was the last German restaurant. I've got some completely different cuisines coming up this week.
