A few days ago I understood one thing about me and the movies. You can NEVER EVER appreciate the whole movie from the first watch. Thanks to people like the author of this video, and many other creators who took me (and many others) through every scene, minute by minute to finally understand how beautiful this movie is. I HATED IT. Just like I hated The MATRIX and THE LORD OF THE RINGS. I could not understand what the fuss was all about. So I kept watching. And learning, and watching and learning. Then I got the book. TLOTR was a VERY HARD READ. At first, that is. The first week or so I was stumbling, looking at unfamiliar words and trying to decipher the meaning, based on what was happening at this or the other part of the story, And then it broke. The whole ocean of letters felt like a dam broke and the words just started spilling into my brain, which at this time was already familiar with the spacing and the very special Tolkien style of writing. If you've never read it - do it. Absolutely do it. It's just as beautiful as the movie, Jackson did such a good job. But it's a different kind of Tolkien. It's like watching an underwater adventure movie on a TV and then going to IMAX and rewatching it again. The action will happen but in your brain, and in between the action and the dialogue Tolkien fills in with gorgeous scenery and you really feel like reading a true story where magic exists and it's just part of the world and people regard it as we regard electricity and radio. Fans of Tolkien got lucky that the script and the rights to make the movie got to Jackson and no one else. He really did such a splendid job. And the writer of this story (Yes, 99% of all movies start with a story, and sometimes a very short story)

Love you 1 billion thousand, thank you for the fantastic movie cut and the music
