Eurowings bringing Germany to the Kruger

The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport now has a new intercontinental flight, bringing European tourists directly from Frankfurt to the heart of the South African bushveld.

How many times did they fly the route? Twice? They dumped me in Windhoek in Jan 2023 because they couldn't continue to Kruger Mpumalanga for 'technical reasons'. By my return in March 2023 the route had been discontinued. But hey, they got all of defunct Air Namibia's more lucrative routes, so this was a price worth paying, was it?

What's so special about those airlines? EW Discover is a big deal because they fly intercontinentally to smaller holiday destinations, they do not fly everwhere.
