Live hardware cover of my track 'Never Enough'. It was difficult to piece this one together considering lots of the sound design/effects for the original were done 'in-the-box', but the Elektron Octatrack was useful here for adding some ambient effects to the synth audio. All the midi was written on the Octatrack as well. As always the Digitakt is handling drum samples & the Model:Cycles is being used for melodic elements. I have the Microkorg playing the distorted pad sound & the Prologue is pushing bass with an LFO on the filter cutoff.
I am hoping to release these kind of videos more often & get back to what I started this channel for; making & performing new tracks. I want to be able to release studio versions of all the tracks I post on here, but it takes time preparing things for distribution so maybe the best way forward is to release the tracks once a month as EP's & have weekly live versions for each.
