      Hi thank you for a very informative video. Is Boa Vista accesible with a low clearance car?

      @@vuyolwethumtintsilana2672 Hi there. Thank you for watching. While a 4x4 is not necessary to get to Boa Vista, a higher clearance vehicle is recommended. It’s about 12km on a Sandy track to get from Bilene Town to Boa Vista. Do enquire with the hosts as you may be able to securely park in Bilene Town and catch a shuttle down to the accommodation. I am aware of guests who did just that

      Appreciate you kind support! We visited during off peak so we had the entire stretch of beach to ourselves😁. During peak this area becomes quite bustling with visitors. These are the best sunsets we have ever seen honestly

    This is so helpful..
    What was needed at the borders crossing from SA to Moz??

    • @the.sher.khan.
      @the.sher.khan.  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. We are glad it is helpful. This is what was needed:
      1. Passports (we have South African passports)
      2. Letter from vehicle insurance.
      3. Cross border letter from Bank (if vehicle is financed)
      4. Bank Stamped NATIS vehicle document
      5. Drivers licence (SA drivers accepted)
      6. Third Party Insurance compulsory (can be bought through Hollard Mozambique online R280)
      7. Temporary Import Permit will be granted by officials once they have reviewed all the above documentation.
      The above documentation is in the situation you are driving across the border. The requirements differ if the vehicle is not financed or you are driving another person’s vehicle or a vehicle in the name of a company.
      8. No COVID tests required.

    How did you find the pricing for the restaurants? I’ve been told recently prices have been comparable to South African restaurant prices when before it used to be significantly cheaper.

      Yes, our experience is that pricing has been comparable to South African establishments. It makes sense since a lot of the ingredients are from SA I believe. However, we have managed to buy local food at markets in Bilene and Tofo which was amazing and super affordable. Also in Maputo, there are cheaper options such as Piri Piri in Polana
