The manga was great and season one of Tokyo Ghoul was just chef kiss. After that season it just went downhill for me

Until the last half or so before the end I had Tokyo ghoul as the greatest thing I ever read. Hopefully he can look back on it more fondly in the future cuz he truly was in his bag for majority of the series
Season one was godly, two was good and the last one had me forcing myself to finish what I started

It failed because ishida was pressured by the producers to hurry his story. Kaneki was meant to die , the hole story changed during hinami and juzos fight , she was supposed to die, kaneki was meant to die. Then everyone just all started fighting at once ....

I liked tokyo ghoul as anime only viewer. But it could have been done better as far as the anime goes
I love Tokyo ghoul…it'll always hold a special place in my heart… with that being said the ending was atrocious.

Bro it and Re were hot garbage in terms of story. Root A is literally a majority not canon
@@duxangus at least Kaneki finally got the ending he deserved, he has a wife and kids. After so much of the story consists of the world crushing Ken, he can finally be happy for once
I haven’t read the manga but the anime is whack. First season was okay for a setup and the last episode was cool then the second season had SO much potential and then end and nothing happens. Then you go to Re and it was an entirely different show. Definitely hit the mark IMO
After watching the anime and then reading the manfa like 6 years later not reading it is doing yourself a disservice. 😢
The second part of the anime was terrible
Anime aside (which was shit). The first half of the manga was a master piece! TG:re was very good but you could feel Ishida drifting interest away from it due to the reasons he mentioned on the last volume. Still, even not trying I would say it ended better than 90% of mangas now a-days

Yet choujin x is amazing too! I think just people dont know about it yet with only 30ish chapters
