Hi Ksenja I’ve been watching your videos for a long time. Please could you review perfumes from Lush? Especially, Chelsea Morning ! I feel like you’ll love it!
There’s a brand called By Vottari that make cleaner scents using organic sugarcane. I own their scents and they are very nice. Especially a vanilla one that smells like vanilla cookies. .
I will choose health every time. There are too many young women getting cancer. I am appalled by animal testing. So many perfumes smell like chemicals to me. For scent and makeup and cleansers and shampoo, if each person makes a choice for just one thing or even all of their personal products, it will make a difference.
Henry Rose is very clean as well. EWG verified, cradletocradle certified, & cruelty free. My favorites are Flora Carnivora, and Dark is Night. Also my husband really liked Char, Torn, and Menace. Check them out if you can.
So glad that you did this video. I have been trying to lean more into the cleaner brand and I’m glad somebody did bring up Henry Rose because they are very good too. Also Rosie Jane . On the package it says free of petro Chemicals, phthalates and parabrns. If it’s true, that’s great because I love a lot of Rosie Jean Fragrances. As well as Phlur Henry Rose and Skylar. Super great video. 👍💗
I have always been super natural with my lifestyle and products but I am also obsessed with perfumes. I try to find a balance. I'll add some brands to be aware of; CLEAN (Reserve Skin is my fave but also sparkling sugar / radiant nectar sells well)... Lolita Lempicka is now clean... The Body Shop... NEST brand (I love Indigo and Vanillas) The 7 Virtues (Vanilla Woods is amazing!) .... Ellis Brooklyn and By Rosie Jane and Ded Cool and even Charlotte Tilbury are all clean. I also recommend PINROSE and LUSH!!!!!! Also OAKCHA is a clean dupe house.
Hi Ksenja it's true that our skin absorbs certain chemicals, hence medical skin patches and creams etc. So it stands to reason that one should be discerning. On that note, one can spray the sleeve of one's shirt for example instead of our skin. Just an idea. I notice my perfume tends to smell better on my clothes sometimes. 💕
I'm glad you touched on this topic and thank you. I try to buy cruelty free whenever possible. One great brand you didn't mention is Henry Rose. They are a clean and cruelty free brand and transparent with their ingredients. Keep making content that makes you happy!
@@lindatheresa8449 The cost is pretty on par for perfume tbh, and anytime something is healthier for you and not full of cheap chemicals it's going to cost more
I understand the appeal for wanting products that are safer for your skin, but the idea that your skin absorbs everything isn’t completely true! It’s the skin’s main job to keep things out! Things like medical patches and skincare products like retinol are formulated and go through trial and error to try and get them to go deeper into our skin. And most of time they still aren’t penetrating beyond a couple layers of skin cells. Studies that relate to skin absorption are mostly a) on animals and b) at quantities that we will never encounter. The FDA sets limits that keep in mind the daily exposure that you’d get from all of your daily products. Your perfumes are most likely pretty safe, but it can’t hurt to be careful regardless! What works for you might be different from what works for me

will just say the vast majority of fragrances widely available to the market have not had phtalates in them since the early 2000s. other than that i can see the appeal for a video like this and for clean fragrances even if its not a selling point for me personally. most fragrances have to meet IFRA guidelines to be sold in europe and they are constantly changing things. fixatives are not harmful ingredients though, and they arent the same as preservatives.
I’m sorry that you felt the need to justify your choice to use clean fragrances. I’m not sure what is so upsetting about it. People can be very cruel. I am happy that you’ve found these brands and are sharing them.
