As a junior in college, I can confirm all these tips are essential. Unfortunately with my luck, I got severely sick throughout my first semester and people formed friendships and groups without me as I was stuck in my dorm and hospital. I’ve been an introvert wannabe extrovert so being lonely isn’t new, but it feels so inhumane at college. Please be outgoing your first year, I promise you have the time if you put in the effort to. Personally, because my luck always gets me alone I decided to go crazy with classes so I can graduate a year early and study for my MCAT
So sorry to hear about your experience :( but honestly, many people find their closest friends after college. Also, seems like you're CRUSHING it academically. Best of luck with the MCAT!!
@@goharsguide 💯🫡
its not all bad, you’re graduating a yesr early! thats pretty awesome
@@seal6012yea saves money, people are expensive 😂 (but look for those who value your skills and share great chemistry where it doesn’t feel like you always have to reach first in order to talk)
@@goharsguidethank you Gohar, I am and I’m proud of it! Could be better tho… about to enter my hardest semester yet 🫡
man mistakes in college, im making a shitton of mistakes in high school 😭😭
how to make less mistakes: be happy, ignore rude people, don't stress and try to not humble yourself :3 *made by someone who isnt in high school*
@@Blue_phoenixLoverNah, I'd stay humble. 💪🗿
@@Blue_phoenixLovernope ur dumg
@@Blue_phoenixLoverhigh school is meant to be stressful so you get the experience and good enough academics to attend ur dream college then ur dream job

Im an introvert and unfortunately I can’t wait for college lol
As an introvert who has all kinds of relationships issues, I see this as an absolute win😊
🎉🎉
Bro went from making videos about college to making videos about college. What a true legend.
so crazy
bro i swear you always got my back, i needed this
gotchu man!
This video could not have any more perfect timing 😂🎉… thanks Gohar
I'm finally entering my senior year of college in about six weeks. It's already taken me five years for my computer engineering undergrad and I have one year left. This video has some very nice reminders 😅. Thanks Gohar!
My biggest mistake was taking myself too seriously. Don’t forget to take the time to enjoy, college is short.
i agree and thanks for the help gohar!
Loved this video!! Bowling Green Bound in a month!
great video! please keep making college related videos
Thanks for the tips
Thanks!
Gohar Khan comment section in a nutshell:
He went from making videos about college to _____
honestly, means a lot that y'all are sticking around
He's one of those rare youtubers who give actual valuable information without selling any course or whatever, meaning that he really respects his viewers and the process
This is important!
Holy crap Gohar the editing goes hard (pun intended) in this video! Nice job man!
cool vid- this will help me even tho this experience is in YEARS
very helpful video, headed to oxford this october
Thanks Gohar you are a great big bro to all the students out there
I love your videos gohar I’ve been a big fan
Nice video as always Gohar!!! Keep them coming! A lot of my friends in junior year need this soon LOL! Furthermore, my goal is to attend Harvard soon LOL.
Y'all are sleeping on gohars editing
Shit is getting better every video
pls do a vid on mistakes to avoid in high/middle school. love ur vids!!!
I have to be honest here, your tips are for stuff like distinguished colleges because I would rather hangout with future superstars. I hang out with them a lot, of course I am jealous, but I learn something and I improved over years.
Thanks! Im gonna be following you for this.
The editing goes crazy on this one 😮✨
I'm just joining as a freshman in college next month and bro dropped this when I exactly needed it. Thank you brother!
Love this video idea
omg this is so useful thank you so much
Hey, heading to MIT in the fall so I guess your advice is very applicable to my situation
Congrats and good luck!
Congrats on admission! Any tips, I'm a rising sophomore and my dream has always been to go to an ivy
@@OhmShankar-xu2kw I feel like the advice I give is kinda basic, but focus on a few extracurriculars so that you seem passionate. There are lots of people that try to do everything which can look unfocused I think.
@@OhmShankar-xu2kw MIT isn't an ivy
@@zephyrflame ivy plus, it's a great school anyws
Yea! Relatable! Especially preparing for high school
Good
Great video, as a sophomore in college now, I can confirm that going to college allows me to connect with more people and even meeting those who are not from my hometown so that was pretty nice!
This will help me.
this is actually... kinda helpful
thanks :)
I love this channel and I’m not even close to college but it still helps 🤣

I am a uni student in Australia, and live with parents this video was great advice thanks!!
I'm going to college in August and this was very helpful. Confirmed a lot of my suspicions lol. Also your editor is insane😂. The TV scene was something else.

Hey Gohar! Could you do a high school math video? I love your videos by the way!
I need some more years to go to college but watching Gohar videos is always fun and helpful
As a transfer student about to go to UCLA this fall this was incredibly helpful. I’ll definitely have to remember these tips.
bro thanks to ur tips im on the best section in my school thanks gohar
Gohar Khan, You are an amazing youtuber and you are also very brief with your advice. I am currently a Freshman in high school and I am interested in developing leadership skills. I am part of a cross country team and I want to learn how to develop into a leader and encourage people. You should make more videos about how to be a supportive leader.
Thanks Gohar! This September I’m going to be in my senior year in high school and I was very nervous about how I’m going to survive college after graduation. This really provided great tips for me! 😊
Hi
Hi
I'm glad!! best of luck with senior year :)
amazing video
I love the videos man 🌹
It was such a helpful video. Thank you, Gohar Bhai. Hello from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology.
Could please make a video on how you got into MIT? What you focused on in terms of skills and academics, and also any other things that helped you. Anything you recommend others do to also reach a college like MIT. It would be really helpful. Great video though!
Seeing this video after my freshman year ended, realizing I didn’t social at all at the first few weeks 😅
Started at Georgia Tech this summer. Fall is gonna be so different, you might as well say im having 2 beginning semsters
GOAT video from a GOAT TH-camr as usual
This sounds really useful for people going to college. I think I'll have to save this video for the next few years until that's my time so I won't make those mistakes
i’m heading to manhattan college in the fall and ngl going across the country for college is intimidating.
U forgot one and that is to listen to the classes you have taken
Why does this make me excited for college?? 😆
Great video
1. Not testing your blood for:
B12, D3, Iron/Ferritin
im not in college but going into junior year. Im moving into a city with no close family/friends i know to study. kind of terrifying im not gonna lie, but i believe i can do this. your video helped me too thanks!!
it's funny that i've already made every single mistake in this list and now i'm suffering the consequences ☠
All I need is a video how to fix myself at this point
Thank you for this video imma definitely take note of these. Do you think you can make full length videos of your shorts?
IMO, in young years should be a little bit more aggressive. Not just funds but in things a little bit riskier. Students are usually on top of trends, also potential looses could be recouped later.
Please make a video on college interviews and how was your interview at mit
Can you make video about finances ,ALL about how to saving money and right place to start investing and at least amount to begin with and everything, whatever a fresher should know ......❣️
im in middle school and I still watch these videos🤣
My sister needs this so bad😭
thank you.
I am kind of a nihility guy, like anything unnecessary is not important to me. That said, according to this video, I can do many things that can improve myself
But man, all this time I am sticking to myself. Third-year at University and still no relationship outside of family & relatives. Beside, I don't go out for leisure activity like ever and I find it hard to strike up a conversation because I have no idea about the topic they like: gaming, football, etc. I mean, they are not my thing; not that passionate, anyway.
I do aware that being lonely like this could be a hinderance to my progress in my job afterward, but I'm not so sure about how to handle this problem...
Thanks Gohar even though Im not going to college now 😅😂
Can you teach us how to do presentation or how to make slides. I am going to college in few days and I have 0 knowledge on these things. Neither my school or anyone taught me these.
I really like your videos and I would love to learn it from you.
Can you please do a vid on trade schools and how to navigate them? As I’m going to one and I’m only going for two years, so I need more specific information on the topic
As an ex-freshman, these are absolutely true. Us eldest sibilibgs do not have people telling them these, but we learn them the bard way. Probably that this why we finish the first year with more strength that we thought a human could posses.
What up I’m a super big fan thank you I’m Gabe and I have autism and love history
Your the smartest person I know so I needed your help I want to know where to go Princeton,Harvard or Oxford it’s a hard desicion
Wish I knew this before I got so far into college.
Gohar Can you create one one video for how to ace HIGHSCHOOL the next year?
lifting advice in a gohar vid lmao
A weeks left till I'll finally start collage and my anxiety is rising. which is probably why I'm watching so many Videos like this. 😅
This video needs 1 million views😅
I am gonna use those those times for 4th grade

Mistake to avoid in college
°° Avoid going to college °°😂
I literally start college as a freshman next month
WHY AM I AWAKE
Real, there’s no reason i should be awake at 12:20 am
That one day is already coming in one year damn I feel old...
One mistake is people not being bold on making mistakes during lectures when teachers ask a question. My teacher taught me to answer with anything so I can have a five minute one on one basically.
that is only if i go to college cuz at the pace i am goin rn i dont think so i will make it in college 💀
And if anyone does not want to do this stuffs then you can take online colleges they are way better than in person college where you have to go to a real college with real students.
club penguin goat gokhan
Im moving into dorms to get away from parents lol
people saying thanks for the tips but the video came out one minute ago 😂
Man I'm pretty sure I made most of these mistakes in my first year at campus. I'm going to transfer to another university in state for career reasons but do you thinks these tips would still work even though I'm basically going to be a junior in a new school?
Edit: Correction. I didn't do most of them, after finishing the video I realized I did every single one of them. Lets say I was bonkers.
I think you should make this type of video but instead of college, it would be highschool.

Ah, a system error has led the transaction astray to an invalid email address.
Thought this video would include the phase of eating nothing but pot noodle in college
Most of your audience is middle schoolers, can you plz start making vids targeting towards them. ❤❤
