Been listening since MySpace days at least a solid 13 yrs...due to a deployment to Iraq n lots of psych meds that wiped lots of my memory...it took till satellite radio played a song of yalls at random for me to remember that yall were a band that helped keep me alive when I was young. 🥹 I can't put into words how happy I am to see that yall still make music or how I'm feeling having so many memories flood back when I heard yalls old songs. Plz never stop making music 🫂💖

Fuck yeah EARSHOT is BACK and who better to add than AARON FINK, ex Breaking Benjamin lead guitarist. Most ppl don't know this but Aaron had a huge part in writing a lot of Breaking Benjamin's HIT SONGS. Without him they aren't NEAR AS GOOD. I mean there's a reason BB aren't near yhe band now that they were before the split. This is a HUGE ADDITION for Earshot. Mark my words, look for Earshot to climb the charts quickly. It will happen for sure

What?!?! It's really you!!! This is a miracle! A band I listened to when I was 13. The voice hasn't gotten old either. I'm impressed. And very happy. If it isn't stressful, please keep making music. 🙏
This is a lengthy comment but I thought I'd share my story in case it helps anyone feel like they aren't alone.
If they had released this song a few months earlier it would've hit me even harder. I lost my insurance right before the pandemic started. I have ADHD that has persisted into adulthood and requires that I take drugs for it. I went over a year uninsured and unmedicated.
Every single day was a struggle. Once you start to think too much about how you can't even manage to do regular shit that everyone else does seemingly without any effort or a second thought you start the cycle of self-loathing. I mean I couldn't even manage to get to work on time except when I hit my lowest points. I'd tell myself "not anymore." I'd fix everything for a few days and then would start going back down until I hit my next low.
You start to tell yourself "I'm worthless. I can't do anything."
You start to berate yourself for not remembering simple things. Gotta get my car tags renewed? Psh, that ain't happenin. You're paying that late registration fine. Remember how you made dinner plans with that friend you haven't seen in a while? No? Well that's in 45 minutes.
Eventually I fell into a depression that caused me much anguish. My wife tried every way she could but nothing helped.
I had kicked a nicotine addiction but ended up falling right back into it and hiding it from my wife. I started drinking absurd amounts of caffeine just to remotely simulate amphetamines but the doses were too acute and only lasted a short while before I would crash and drink even more. Then I'd start abusing alcohol. Getting drunk almost every night. I only cut that out when the hangovers started lasting all day. Not everyone is so fortunate to be able to just stop over-drinking.
Anyway I developed such a tolerance to caffeine that a 300mg Bang was like watered down diner coffee.
I also seriously struggled with explosive rage. Tiny things would make me go ballistic. I'd get home, see that I forgot to wash the dishes and now there's flies and dried food and just go nuclear. It was always self directed rage, never to anyone else.
BUT HEY! Open enrollment came around, I got insurance through my employer, I now get unbelievably cheap meds and I function like an actual person. It's like that very first dose of Adderall lifted all that weight off of me.
Unfortunately not everyone in my situation has access to healthcare here in America. If you aren't a full time employee but you also make too much to be eligible for federal healthcare then there's not much you can do. You may have to find a better job, but in a twisted way it's almost impossible to force yourself to do that kind of task with unmedicated ADHD.
