Love the windows.I worked for a window manufacturer named REPLA Windows and doors from 1985 to 2005 when they claimed bankruptcy.I see our products in soo many videos.Really cool to see the high quality lasting.
Built in 1990 and full of mold. Built in 1890 or even 1790 and not a speck of mold to be found. That says a lot about today's construction methods. Maybe the shoddy workmanship has something to do with the fact that it was just for show. It might also explain the construction materials laying around, the office type furniture in the garage and the different roof coverings. It looks like at least 1 type of roofing failed, lol. It almost looks like no one every actually lived in this house, office space only. In the last room there weren't even any furniture marks on the carpet. Great find, thanks.
Different roof tiles, different kitchen styles, dual stoves, various railing styles and peg board with track lights - that was 100% a show house for a development. The fluorescent lights and tiled ceilings in the basement give off an office vibe
I’ve noticed a lot of the people that do these video refer to the paper in the drawers as wall paper. Just an fyi it’s called contact paper. It’s made to go in cabinets and drawers. ❤
It seems that you have incredible abandoned places in Canada , have you thought of coming over to England and seeing our historical abandoned places ? Love your videos ❤
My best guess is that was a lived in, show home. Likely a home builder team member/owner. Tours for potential clients were likely given by appointment. The peg board walls likely displayed upgrade samples of tiles, countertops, carpet, wood flooring, faucets, light fixtures, trim, paint, etc. That would explain crates of raw materials and supplies in garage. After some time, the 'mode/sample home' is usually sold at a discount so a newer model could be built with newer technologies and material options. If a developer purchased it, its usually overlooked when vandals take things. It will all be demolished anyway once they can acquire the land mass desired to fully develop their project. Could be a number of reasons for a number of strange outcomes leading to your discovery.
Looks like there are different choices for upper wall trim above the window in the room with the different ceiling light medallions. Really a different home. Fun to see. Thanks
How does a WaterFurnace work? As a WaterFurnace unit runs, it can capture heat that would normally go to waste and divert it to your water heater tank (using an optional component called a desuperheater). Your unit can generate up to 50% of your hot water-at almost no cost. For larger volumes of hot water, we also offer dedicated hydronic units. VERY COOL!!
Is it cheaper to just start over when a house gets like this? Seeing the multiple banister choices was a great catch! Seems to be a showroom type beat.
I love the pegboard walls it reminds me of a 90's computer store. I don't like the placement of gas stove and dishwasher in the kitchen there should be barstools there at the counter so people can sit there then lean back and fall over the balcony
I think it was a model home and all of the different types of railing are for people to choose which one they want put into the house they are going to build. Think that is why there is as much land as there is.
If this was a show home, maybe it was a sales office and they had the options such as home plans, brick types, carpet, tiles, etc. My house was a model (show) home. The garage was the sales office so my garage has extra light switch panels and closed off vents that were used to heat the room/garage. Very interesting video. Thank you.
I thought it was a sales office too but dont think it was ever lived in The sinks, tubs, & showers were too clean! The bedrooms were probably different sales reps offices.
It seems most of the water damage is on one side of the house which tells me, the winter storms hit that side of the structure and when that happens, more care needs to be taken in making sure the roof on that side (or roofs as the case may be) are well sealed.
Thank you Noah for filming these beautiful homes. Too sad they are abandoned. We have so many homeless. These homes could have been refurbished to help those without a place to go.
MORON is right! I have two unregistered cars on my property 5+ acres. Half the time I'm gone and I guess some morons know. Both cars have smashed windshields, rear-view mirrors, broken antennas, punched tires, and what ever else they can destroy ....
It appears to me this home was cheaply made. Have a wooden roof is an invite to rot and termites plus leaking. Seems owner had built the home. I think it went to bankrupt and the truck was hidden because they were trying to repossess.
If the roof shingles are cedar, it will take a while for them to dry out enough to be dangerous- the biggest issue is once they start to dry, they loosen up around the nail holes. I grew up with a cedar shingle roof and my parents didn't maintain it. Did its job for nearly 25 years before the leaking started and some of the was due to the winter storms ripping shakes off. Termites aren't an issues with cedar.
This house was never lived in. It was a model home for a real estate project that failed or it was a scam. I bet they made millions and never built a single house other than this model.
Beautiful looking home. Shame with the water damage especially that black mold, thats the dangerous kind. It seems all along the bump out of that house is ruined because of the water. Love the size of the property, has lots of possibilities. The kitchen has to go. What got me was the three car garage omg. That truck and kids bikes are a wonder. Where the heck is this house?
The amount of telephone/networking gear in the basement makes me think some business was done from that room that looks like an Indian call center. Maybe contractor admin space? Maybe the Dot Com bubble sunk this venture? It’s strange to leave so many things of value.
1:03; Yes, the *1990's* my childhood years. 24:30 that definitely is a 90's oven. Also the liners in some of them drawers and cabinets. The dishwasher was in an odd spot.
The property is beautiful. The house I don't find pretty at all. I would need more doors. The back yard was awful looking. Thank you for showing this homestead. Y'all stay safe.
County records will tell you who owned it and if it was foreclosed on. Bet a bank owns it. That heavy yellow payloader he showed a glimpse of proves somebody owns it. Lady walked into the garage. FYI , I’m a realtor and a home like that is not built to be a ‘show’ home. Clearly someone plans to work on it. Give me the address and I’ll easily find out who owns it.
That Fireplace right inside the Front door is defeating it's purpose, Seriously who would put a Fireplace right by a front door? Also that Garage outside behind the House was probably for a very large gatherings of Friends and Family. It would save from people being in the House.
The first house I bought was built in 1994. It had some similar features. I have to say that this house had some nice upgrades as far as the gas range built in,the fireplaces being gas and the wood doors but looking at how it was actually built at, the workmanship and materials, it was pretty shoddy. My house was only 1450sf and was built far better than that house. Why have such elaborate features and layout if you’re going to build it in a way that can’t even support itself for such a time? Such a waste. Nice catch though Noah!
Obviously not abandoned for long, or at all. I guess most people aren't very smart, edited out the neighbors too... good job. The hard looks pretty green for abandoned, and mowed within the past month? How many properties you think that person owns? Probably needs to be there to prevent people like you wandering in?
Its been abandoned for about a decade now actually. You can clearly see neighbors in the drone shot at the start so not sure what you're complaining about? Every abandoned place has an owner, the city will come and mow the property if the owners fails to and will bill them. Probably best you just don't speak on thing you clearly know nothing about 🤷🏻♂️
It appears that someone who owns a business is using that home for storage currently!! Beautiful home! Doors and windows are as cheap as you can go unfortunately!
Yes it gets dismantled. Yes, we dismantle the building when we leave, no matter what. Yes my entire life I've heard it and know it. Matters went improper. Or they intended five years and five years later it was a dismantle.
They may not have walked away voluntarily. They may even be guests of the Canadian prison system. The 90s were crazy with coke and medium sized kingpins. Just a theory.
It looks like the were going to try and save it. Then I guess they seen how bad its bones were and left it to further decay. It would explain all those materials scattered inside and out

I was just thinking the exact same thing! Houses built in the 1920's are still standing strong, these new Houses I wouldn't give You a penny for.
Different roof tiles, different kitchen styles, dual stoves, various railing styles and peg board with track lights - that was 100% a show house for a development. The fluorescent lights and tiled ceilings in the basement give off an office vibe
Very nice house, always a shame when the roof leaks and not repaired. Thanks Noah

This was a beautiful mansion in her day! Cool video bro, thank you! 👍❤️🤘

VERY COOL!!
It is a geothermal furnace-it gets heating and cooling from deep in the ground.
Those wood pieces in the master closet are grids to give windows a divided light look. We have them in our 1993 built house. Nice video.❤
Blue pearl granite in the kitchen is beautiful
I LOVE the outside brick on the house, that is so pretty!
I also really like the staircase, the Oak wood was nice too.
I'm surprised that the copper thieves haven't already cleaned the place out.
Nowhere is always somewhere
Is it cheaper to just start over when a house gets like this? Seeing the multiple banister choices was a great catch! Seems to be a showroom type beat.
Not a bad layout and beautiful land.
I love the pegboard walls it reminds me of a 90's computer store. I don't like the placement of gas stove and dishwasher in the kitchen there should be barstools there at the counter so people can sit there then lean back and fall over the balcony
Nice house here Noah. Wow! I liked the original color too. Sweet house. Mold is bad here. Shame. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think the hot tub sort of takes away from the aesthetic of the sun room. Quite a house. Thank you.
Did pier 1 imports stores have floors like that?
It looks like a smaller version of the Soprano mansion.
I think it was a model home and all of the different types of railing are for people to choose which one they want put into the house they are going to build. Think that is why there is as much land as there is.
My house was built in the 40s & All my Closets are Cedar

I don't think the truck was left behind it's probably stored there
All the angels on the roof were 😎 love the drone footage
Thank you Noah for filming these beautiful homes. Too sad they are abandoned. We have so many homeless. These homes could have been refurbished to help those without a place to go.
I bet the contractor that bought it stores some stuff there and some moron had to smash his bobcat window
MORON is right! I have two unregistered cars on my property 5+ acres. Half the time I'm gone and I guess some morons know. Both cars have smashed windshields, rear-view mirrors, broken antennas, punched tires, and what ever else they can destroy ....
Seems strange that there is a fireplace in the foyer/ entry area. Maybe that put it there for a better hear source. Great video. Thanks.
The layout is really cool 😎 love that place
Really enjoyed this curious one sometime wondered about why they abandoned it !! Thanks 🙏 for this one.
Beautiful explore. Shame to see such homes allowed to crumble 🦋
Wow very Beautiful home. 👍🏻👍🏻
All that craftsmanship ruined by cheaping out on the roof. Salvager's dream.
Holy crap! The Bikes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I'd take one! Yeah, I would, so what. Leaving them there is flat-out dumb.
Great video remember no toilet shots some of us might be eating snacks😅😊
What is your company going on about?
11:45, could also be individual work stations, like for home schooling children and such. I have them in my house for that very reason.
It appears to me this home was cheaply made. Have a wooden roof is an invite to rot and termites plus leaking. Seems owner had built the home. I think it went to bankrupt and the truck was hidden because they were trying to repossess.
That skid steer too. That's not a cheap unit. It's almost like this guy has his stuff stashed while he's sitting in jail or something.
@@Freedomquest08 very possible!

@@TheTrwebster wouldn’t he have stated cedar shingles if that’s what they were? Or a slate roof more attractive with a stone home.
Yes, I also thought cheap materials to build.
This house was never lived in. It was a model home for a real estate project that failed or it was a scam. I bet they made millions and never built a single house other than this model.
Looks like a lot of the beautiful terracotta tiles..
Intro music sounding like a cross of twin peaks and c418
We made our own in house sealed glass units.Year and name is always stamped inside the glass spacer.
Gotta love the Tim Hortons cups. Love their coffee.
I love the vacuum shots
That is a awesome house, very spacious.
Hi Noah from West Virginia USA 🇺🇲👋 I like watching your videos 👍😎
When the roof goes, it's a done deal! Seen many barns they let the roof go! Crash!! Really does not take long.
Nice explore! Subscribed!
The tiles by the front door are called terracotta tiles.
Nice home. Love the foyer and after seeing it the rest of house let you down. Enjoyed video.
It looked like a cedar shake roof. We had one replaced when it started leaking. Insurance goes up with a shake roof at least in B.C.
cedar closets keep moths away from your cloths.... usually winter jackets and cloths are kept in them
👍Great video
It’s called a water closet when they have the toilet in there
Shame they went cheap on the roof. A steel roof would have kept the place pristine and free of water damage.
No doubt a bank let it go to schit after foreclosing. Meanwhile there is a housing shortage. Criminal.
Thanks awesome video

I think the kitchen is very odd. The dishwasher is on the opposite side of the sink, and way far away from the cabinets. Not practical at all!
That's terracotta tiles coming in door, looks like a great place
where the window is board up and when you said this is a waste this is where you put your coffee machine. coffee cups and coffee go to
that truck looked all rusted out underneath
My favorite part is the sunroom with all the windows and the hot tub.👍😊
The property is beautiful. The house I don't find pretty at all. I would need more doors. The back yard was awful looking. Thank you for showing this homestead. Y'all stay safe.
Not crazy about the kitchen layout. I would change it so when you're in there cooking, you're face those big windows.
Beautiful ❤
You and your toilet shots. Some of us are not really interested in that shot. Everything else was amazing and beautiful.
I don't mind toilet shots Or dirty bathtubs😅
I don't think the shot is put in for "viewing value".. it just happens to be in the BATHROOM being filmed. Chill.

Hey noah I would live there😊
When you see the Water Furnace brand HVAC controls, the house has a geothermal system.
