    Best review of the B&W Tow and Stow for the HD GM Trucks on You Tube! Your review answers most, if not all, questions a potential purchaser might have. Thanks for the detailed review!!!

    B&W Tow and Stows are the best on the market in my opinion. I have a 2” shank version that’s nearly 10 years old. Still works flawlessly.
    I bought a new 2.5” shank version when I got my 2022 2500 Silverado. Mines the regular tailgate so I got the regular version snd also only the 5” drop but I love it.
    With just very minimal maintenance they will last a long time. I usually grease my pins when I rotate my tires (6,000 miles) and it’s always good to go.

    Great video, not sure if you mention it in the video but if you press and hold the button that opens the inner door of the tailgate it will disable the button so that it does not accidentally open. I believe you have to hold it for about 7 seconds or until the brake lights flash. Do it again and it will enable the inner door to work again with the button. Not sure what year this was added but it will definitely work with your truck.

    Hi another great video! I recently purchased a Imagine 21BHE that i will be picking up soon. My question is what hitch setup do you use on your 21BHE? Do you use a Weight Distribution Hitch w/Sway Control? Thank you again for your time.

    • @AdventureRocks

      Congrats on new RV! I really have been enjoying mine. Hope your delivery goes smoothly. There are a lot of opinions out there on WDH and sway control. Just my personal opinion...I'd rather have a larger truck that is overkill and forgo all the WDH and sway control (most modern trucks have sway control algorithms built-in). Why I don't like it...WDH is seldom adjusted properly by dealers and installers...one extra step each time to hook/unhook, and it can lead to frame failure on an RV if it is too tight. All that to say I use the Shocker Air HD hitch with my 21BHE and I like it so far. Here's a full video on it:

      @@AdventureRocks Thanks I’m super excited! Hopefully it goes well. I somehow missed this video thank you for the explanation and the link. Good information and if it works for your setup mine is very similar just a different Truck trim. I’ll let you know how it goes. Keep up the great work we all appreciate it.

    I would like to see this with a trailer hooked up to see how much clearance there is. I don't like not having the tailgate use when trailering.

    • @AdventureRocks

      Great point. Are you thinking in terms of clearance with a tongue jack interfering on trailer, preventing tailgate from opening?

    • @jaisonwithani

      @@AdventureRocks Yes. I usually have stuff in the bed and on the trailer. I know every trailer tongue is different, but at least one example would be helpful. It's a lot of money to spend.

      @@AdventureRocks Great review! Best, by far, on the tube.

    • @AdventureRocks

      @@jaisonwithani Very true. I can tell you from firsthand experience with my travel trailer (featureed in th-cam.com/video/Tr2yNEfxNh8/w-d-xo.html) that the tailgate will hit tongue jack...so it only opens about 45 degrees. Basically the B&W hitch keeps the ball closer to truck axle, which is good for towing/sway, but that does limit clearance with tailgate and tongue jack on trailer. However, there may be other trailers/tongue jack combos where it does clear (since it's not standard trailer to trailer), but I'd say mine is pretty average. If you did a torsion-style hitch or another that extends the ball further from axle, that may give enough clearance for tailgate. Hope this helps.

    It’s pricey, but it is the bestest (🤣) on the market for the multi-pro.

  • @pnwdweler4100

    They want a huge premium to have the lousy slant cut in the hitch versus the straight one. Would be nice if the multi-pro and non-multi-pro cost the same.

    What happens when the ball wardout can you replace it

    • @AdventureRocks

      Probably could replace just hat part if needed, but I think if you keep it greased, maybe less likely to need replacement?

  • @40CaliberMr

    Would have been nice if GM engineers didn't have their heads in their butts when designing that tailgate so you didn't have to buy a $250 or $300 hitch. Oh well, we'll leave it up to the aftermarket to come up with a solution for our stupidity. When that tailgate first came out I said it was going to be a problem, and it is.

    • @AdventureRocks

      I hear you. After using the multi-Pro tailgate for about 9 months I've come to really appreciate it and its usefulness especially being able to reach further into the bed. Definitely trade-offs like you mentioned, but worth it for many that have a use for it.
