    what is the difference between manufacturing and industrial engineering? plz help!

      there isn't necessarily a difference. quality engineer, manufacturing engineer, and industrial engineer could all be doing the exact same job. mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and others could be working as a manufacturing engineer as well. The difference will be company to company and what the job requirements are. And you'll be targeting specific jobs based on your skills and based on what skills you want to further develop. Engineering is great because there is such a broad range of things you can work on. It's rarely the same thing day in and day out. I mean, it is in that you have problems to solve... but the nature and type of problems can vary widely even on the same day.

    If I get an industrial engineering degree, can I get a job as a manufacturing engineer?

      Wrong. In most cases you get a manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering degree.
