Of course, I don't.
With this video I tried to portray both of her "halves" - Robyn and Rihanna, but I also wanted to capture her whole life story - as a child in Barbados and then becoming who she is today, then being a celebrity and everything that comes with it, and of course the thing that (at least I hope) makes up for all the bullshit - us. In other words - can't get any cornier...
Unfortunately, I didn't execute the "great" idea very well either... Especially the 6-second part with the highlights of her career...I was way too lazy to try to fix it... Also the media part...ALL the fast-paced parts...the anticlimactic last chorus part...the effects... I think I should stop here...
I also wanted to emphasize on us a lot more, but at some point I realized that it won't happen - the song was way too short to fit everything I wanted to. I tried to use as many Unapologetic performances and videos as possible, at least we should be promoting the era.
Despite all of this, I still made a new video! I decided not to return to Scotland, so I'll actually have some time to spend on videos in the next few months! Actually it's been a while since the last time I felt the excitment and a need of making a
new video, so I'm actually glad and happy despite the unfulfilling result. I've got like 3 or 4 videos started and ideas for 3 more, so hopefully I'll give you something new sooner! But I still hope this one is worth watching.

Watching this on the 15th anniversary of Pon de Replay, and it's amazing how much Rih has achieved in her career and life, yet she remains the same woman that we always loved.
