Holy cow Hannah, you've upped your editing/video game. The first 30 seconds alone, dang. It looks like one of those TV demo videos they're showing at CES right now, not in a mean way, in a omg that's beautiful way.

agree, really wondering how you can do all these editing things alone, with a macbook air some more lol

@@FreddyHartanto Hahaha thanks! I just gotta make sure to keep my Air clean and not let things pile up and it works the charm!

@@CurrentlyHannah I think you will need the macbook pro soon to help you speed up the rendering process since your channel is growing so fast.
I subscribed to your channel when you 'only' had about 7k subs at that time. Love your content and how you deliver it ever since.

I really like how you put your videos together. Good sense of rhythm and flow. My favorite is Omotesando Hills. Some of the spots you introduced are new to me. Thank you.

Your video was recommended after I watched like 15 videos on Tokyo. This is BY FAR THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE SEEN. Very artistic and really makes me look forward to my trip in July. Subscribed immediately. :) Now to start watching all your other content I have missed...it's going to be a late night! haha

Loved the awkwardness in this video. It’s good to be reminded of the reality that we’re not the only ones like that (every once in a while).

Love your list! Ive been to most of the places you've mentioned here and Yanaka is by far my favourite of the list, its so peaceful there, especially the cemetary (sounds creepy but Japanese cemetaries give off a peaceful atmosphere rather than a sad one)

I'd say Tokyo University is another hidden gem.. the place was totally awesome. beautiful buildings, awesome environment.. there are like tons of instagram worthy places.
There is this one "hidden" park called Sanshiro Pond, it was so beautiful. I went there during winter and got to watch kendo training in one of their training halls beside a soccer field.
and you can find the statue of Hachiko and its owner Hidesaburo (a lecturer in one of Tokyo Uni campuses)..
tourist definitely wont put a university in their tour list.. haha

Hi Hannah have to say..... I’ve been watching your channel from the start and I’m still loving every Vlog. Information I get about Japan from you John Peter Sharla Norm and Chris is invaluable. But I have to say this is the only channel that my wife watches on TH-cam about Japan . And I agree with my wife that you’re content cinematography and just you is spot on. And of course it just might be that you’re an Aussie girl.... This just might get me across the line for a holiday this year in Japan.keep up the good work I’m hoping it’s a great 2019 for you and Yoshi

How welcoming are those little bars to tourists? Golden Gai might be famous, but it's also famously unwelcoming. I recall walking into one of the larger bars, and was just told "No!" and ordered to get out. It's not like I was in there taking pictures or anything. That was a huge contrast to a similar district of tiny bars in Kanazawa a few days earlier, where they were incredibly welcoming, and even the other customers reverted to chatting in English to keep me in the conversation.
