My room is covered wall to wall in superhero, Star Wars, Transformers, etc. memorabilia. I have shelf after shelf of action figures on display. My accent wall actually has two custom giant decals of my favorite obscure comic characters (Vigilante and Shining Knight if anyone was curious). And I was worrying about all that being childish. But you just helped cement what I already knew deep down. That theses things mean something to me and make me happy and that's all that matters. I wouldn't be who I am without this stuff. My dads mum tried to take that away from me when we went to visit because I was “to old”. My dad has the same stance, when I was 8 he put all my studies in black bags and nearly dropped them at a charity shop, I still don’t forgive him even though I got all of them back.
