Hi, I just passed my Exam FM today, first take! I used your videos as my foundation and really grinded those sample exams available on the SOA website. Thank you very much for your FM series, couldn't have done it without your help ❤
Awesome! Nice job! It's definitely not an easy exam, so you should be proud of that. Thank you so much for sharing this with me, glad to know I could help in some way. You're very welcome :)
Perhaps one day I can visit those topics! I don't have any immediate plans to cover them as they are not topics tested on the actuarial exam FM, which is what my FM videos are primarily catered towards, but I know there are a lot more FM topics out there that I could cover. I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future! I appreciate the suggestion :)
Curious on why first-order modified approximation wasn't included. I think this is the formula: P(i_n) ~= P(i_0)*(1-(i_n-i_0)*ModD_(i_0)) I'm guessing it is rare to see on exams, but ran into on the SOA practice questions.

please can you make other courses like differential equation, linear algebra and so on.
Because your explanation is so clear 👌

I talk about the first-order modified approximation starting at 13:03 when reviewing all the various formulas for this unit.
@@JKMathI don't know how I missed that. 😅 It is certainly right there.
you forgot about Continuous Payment Streams under financial mathematics platlist
I cover continuous annuities in lesson 15 of my FM series. It is also included in my Unit 2 review on the valuation of annuities.
