I have spent about 90 hours trying to finish this game. Those are 90 hours of my life I am not getting back. But those 90 hours have become only a simple memory, a memory which I will not forget for a long, long time.

Looking back at this trailer almost a year later, and this is a masterclass in conveying the mood and visuals and FEEL of the game without actually telling you anything. There's so many things going on that will not make any sense until you're dozens of hours into the game, and even then will take some thinking about. And it doesn't even show the basic puzzle mechanic of the game! At all!
This trailer lives rent-free in my head, it always gets me to stick around whenever I'm browsing the store page of the game on Steam and it automatically starts. The trailer's sound design and choreography are phenomenal, they make it such a treat to watch the entire 2 minutes and 38 seconds every single time. It's truly something special.
I played Void Stranger back at the beginning of the year, but I keep coming back and watching this trailer again because it really is immaculate. Honestly one of the best trailers I've ever seen for anything. It perfectly captures the vibe of the game and somehow does so without ever even showing the primary game mechanic.

having reached the first ending and not even having scratched the surface if the game in all 30+ hours ive put into it in a single weekend, i can tell you that for even as epic as this trailer is, it doesnt even begin to encapsulate how incredible the game has been. its being pitched to you as a simple sokoban. it is so, so much more than that. do you remember why youre here?
I finished this game. I almost cried at the ending. I then started playing again, looking for bonus collectables. A bit into that I then saw a screenshot in an area no where close to anything I've ever seen before with 5 mechanics I've also never seen. I'm in for the long haul ain't I.
Currently playing through ZeroRanger for the first time, game is SO good I want to get this immediately after finishing it just to see what other gold the devs have made
Remember, when the game (Zero Ranger) appears to be over, keep playing. Some people never get to play the last stretch of the game because they quit too quickly.
Probably a coincidence, but that final shot of the girl standing on the castle like railing and preparing to jump sort of reminded me of the opening chapter for the light novel Avesta of Black and White.

this game is HUGE. I'm almost 60 hours in and feels like i have still so many stuff and endings left.
This game makes me feel like I should be put in a padded room. Incredible work.
