Noooo! Maybe you should explain that art is a process and there is no right or wrong. You might have done a beautiful flower and it doesn’t matter if you started off doing a starfish. I have started many a painting with one idea and it has turned into something else even better. Keep up the good work and I’m sure your mum will see how good you’re becoming 🧡✨

the sand part reminds me that once i made a seashell and then i coloured the background with thousands of dots to be the sand!! it took me like 10 art lessons (1 art lesson: 20 min)!!
