I think it was more he’s found a company that suits his talent. He’s an incredible worker, but his mic and character work isnt the best and very one note. It means he didn’t really suit the like of tna/impact or wwe who rely more on larger than life personalities over work rate, while njpw is the opposite where the focus is on in ring ability over anything else suiting his strengths and hiding his weaknesses

Factions done right are why I love NJPW so much. AEW does an ok-ish job, and WWE only forms them so they can split them up in a tired old trope that has been done to death since the Rockers.
NJPW do alright, although sometimes it feels like they let factions live for too long. Look at the state of factions like chaos and bullet club and tell me they’re not years past their peak. I’m not saying they should do a wwe where they break up factions every 5 minutes, but there is a happy in between. If you love factions atm dragon gate are probably the best at it, although tbf factions essentially fuel everything in the promotion so it obviously gets more focus
