Ken Okuyama is a famous automotive designer responsible for the iconic Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari P4/5, as well as being the head of Pininfarina, where he designed the Ferrari Rossa. Curated has been lucky enough to land some of Ken's personal Kode concept cars - the Kode 0 and Kode 57! The Kode 57 is based on the Ferrari 599 chassis, while the Kode 0 is based on the Lamborghini Aventador. We also take a look at several Lamborghini Diablo GTs that are being prepped for their next homes, as well as our incredible Bugatti EB110 SS prototype, and - two cars we're very excited to have - the iconic Vector WX-3 and Vector WX-3R prototypes!
In the constant pursuit of pairing the world’s best automobiles with the world’s best collectors, CURATED Miami has specialized in Vintage Blue Chip European Automobiles since 2016 - specifically low production cars built by the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and more. CURATED continues to pave the way for the next generation of collectors chasing the “poster cars” of their youth. Co-founder John Temerian, often called the Indiana Jones of car collecting, truly understands the importance of history, details, and provenance and CURATED is dedicated to educating and supporting new custodians, empowering them to preserve and celebrate these rare icons. Known for our inventory of some of the most rare examples of Ferarris and Lamborghinis ever produced, CURATED has a passionate global following, comprised of enthusiasts, experts, influencers and celebrities.
Guys I hate to brag but I met John on Monday at Curated and shook his hand.
Also got to see the Kodes and the Vectors .
John if your reading this, I have years experience as a technician and would love to be an intern over there if you’re hiring lol.
Good luck man!
Hi Tracy! Thanks for stopping by. You never know! Feel free to send your resume to ana@wearecurated.com
Curated is untouchable. Wow, best selection on the planet.
Please don't take this the wrong way John. I never liked your channel in the past, too brash and dare I say obnoxious. But you were younger then. Life and it's many experiences has had a profound effect on you. The professionalism, grace and humility with which you present both yourself and the cars is now commendable. It's a testament to your commitment and ultimately your families continued success. Congratulations, Michael in Toronto.
Thank you for the kind words, Michael!
Hi John, is the showroom open to the public?
The Kode 0 is hands down my favorite unicorn…wish I could fly down to see it in person before it’s gone to Europe!
I live vicariously through John Temerian.
John. Glad to see my hand painted Miura banner hanging in the garage area. I’m glad it has a good home! 👍🏻
Thanks again!
The view don't constitute to the impact your having on the specialty car community. You guys are legends. You guys love what you do, and it shows. Cheers!
A manual F355 with no airbag wheel, a Miura SV and the EB110ss. Does not get any better.
Yes that F355 has got to be a 1994 or 1995.
That black Diablo GT at the start of the video...the sold one...my oh my that's a badass piece of kit.
The Miura is so timeless if I ever have the chance to own one I absolutely will own a green one.
It's gorgeous!
Es increible la calidad de todos estos iconos uno de los mejores videos del año
I can listen to john temerian talk about cars all day.
Now Vectors are the real must have rare 80s car! I can still see the Car&Driver cover ! What a cool 😎 wow vehicle
Ken was the department head at Art Center when I was there. What a amazing designer and person.
Loved the tour of the cars.
Wow, awesome to have him as a teacher!
Love the content John. So knowledgeable and passionate.
Maybe its because Im in my early 40's but i absolutely love 90's Lamborghini's, Ferrari's and just about anything from that era. Love the teal color on the Vector. If i win the lottery tomorrow its almost like your showroom is begging me to fill my garage(s)
It's time to make a video with your boss sorry pops!!!! BTW me and friends enjoyed the video of the Lambo factory story AWSOME!!! From Europe with love and keep up the good work!!😊
I have always been a Ferrari nerd but curated and John has kind of transformed me into this lowkey Lamborghini fanboy especially with the classic cars and honestly now after the f80 being launched Idk but Ferrari classics feel more Ferrari while Ferrari feels soulless now hopefully someday when I come to the United States I would love to meet John and who knows maybe but something from curated
Its amazing how you amd the team chase all these cars.
Big fan here from South africa Cape Town
Thank you! Cape Town is gorgeous
Vector….nice! There is one at the Gilmore Museum, owned by a former architect in West Michigan. Very unique, and rare!
Keep the Diablo content coming, Can't see enough of those beauties..! 🇮🇹💪🇮🇹
Let’s go for the 100k viewers John. Thanks for your expertise again! Let’s Go🚀
love seeing these cars and hearing the stories. btw that orange Miura is wtf beautiful. Thanks JT
Thanks for tuning in!
You guys always have amazing cars. Your showroom rivals even some of the showrooms in Dubai. I’m pretty sure I’m going to end up buying a Diablo from you guys at some point.
agree on the f1 comparison with the eb110 ss i think overtime the market will see that as well
Such a technologically advanced car!
So well done..
Don’t think you guys at curated make a bad video. Insane stock. It’s like being in a dream watching the details.
thank you!!
Love those Diablo GTs
GREAT VIDEO @wearecurated keep it up sending my love from Vancouver Canada I’m planning a trip to Miami next year for the F1 Grand Prix
Both WX3 prototypes! I have to go to Miami soon since I'm 2 hours away. I have to see those in person.
Yes! Please stop by
When he said the two Vectors had very 90's colors, I've always said the same thing.
Miura next to Diablo GT. Crazy beauty
gorgeous cars, you’re the man John 👍🏼
thanks for the support Rodolfo!
Disable Sae 39 Akita in yellow is the absolute bomb
4:03 - just like my Prowler! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (Spoiler: I don't even have a Prowler!)
F355 in a very tasteful specification 👌
Just a quick correction at 4:50 you called the car the Lancia Stratos zero but it's actually the kode 0. Thanks again for the entertaining videos and history lessons I love to see someone preserving these cars and passing the knowledge on.
What John was saying is the Kode 0 design is inspired by the Lancia Stratos Zero. a little misunderstanding!
Doug Demiro would go nuts with the amount of quirks and features of these cars, lol
...stay tuned!
clk60 pretty sick , what kind of engine is that
Didn’t Kris Singh own the 2 Vectors?
yes he did!
Does he still own them?
I’ve seen both cars at Miller Motorcars in Greenwich CT about 5 years ago. Stunning in person
@@WeAreCuratedhes got a great collection. Not to mention the Veneno (the secret possible Cinque) & the Zonda incoming.
No
John wasn't there a green Miura being restored by Iain Tyrrell? Did it make it to Miami?
Loves the LA hat bro represent
John you have the best showroom and the best automotive content on TH-cam in my opinion, but can you give that hair of yours a trim please? Those under-cap curls are distracting me from the cars
i heard the apollo ie is the big surprise 👀
nice video
Do you have anything in common with Orlando Bloom?
I could probably find more than four places around every one of the cars in your showroom to just sit in silence and stare for hours😢
What’s the story for the M1?
What about the M1?!
I like this channel its class
Thank you!
@WeAreCurated We need to get your VTTT and our Diablo TT SV Monterey together Johnny had done a video on it a while back
We just put out a short on it today!! You've got the SV TT?
@@WeAreCurated Correct. We bought the #16 Monterey SV TT. Whenever you are in the Northeast stop in
Random but I see you Jon with the Jumpman Jacks Travis Scott on
So...did these Kode speedsters come about by cutting up an existing 599 or did Ferrari hand him "incomplete" cars to build off of?
Have you seen a group of people look into the window of your shop on the last two Sundays because it was me
Was that the exact cat Ken had on Jay Leno's garage?
the Kode 0 yes, as it's the only one. The Kode 57 there are a handful, so not sure which one Leno drove
What about that black Miura tho?
It's beautiful! We did a video on it last year when we received it
The barchetta’s went in Europe within last 2 years from 300k to 480k currently….😅
As a kid I had the Lamborghini Raptor poster on my wall. Does that car really exists?
I have some good pictures of the Kode in 2016 from concorso. I’ll email them for your records if you want.
Thank you so much! You can email them over at sergio@wearecurated.com
Why didn't you talk about the bmw M1 ?
We've covered it in past videos!
4:33
dealers doesn’t matter if pro or private & car repair shops are the enemy of car owners who live for their passion to drive “the” car !
Just watched an auction on TH-cam where a Lamborghini Miura SV got $4.375 Million Dollars.
Yes! Next week's video will be discussing that sale. Crazy result!
While my bank account can't be the judge, if you try and convince me that the enzo is good looking?
❤
I sent you the details of a “85 white Lamborghini countach , no reply to the email…
Playback Speed for John, 1.25x - 1.5x
Diablo GTR. Arghhh
It’s looks like Lamborghini Aventador j
yes! The car is based on the Aventador chassis
"Dupont registry"....
He just walks around touching cars leaving finger prints, the detailers must be furious when he says he needs to make "content" in the shop. Just buying and selling the same cars over again as rich people get bored or die so often. Only in Miami.
Kris Singh is the biggest tool in Miami. The guy is truly contemptible.
bro quit pawing all over the cars 🤣
If I ever have 7 figures in my bank account i know the first place im going 😅🥲
