Yamaha PG-1 Overview:
Yamaha Motor Philippines has launched the PG-1, also known as Playful Gear, aimed at becoming the newest essential for outdoor enthusiasts. This motorcycle is built to elevate moto-exploration, making it ideal for those seeking the perfect outdoor adventure. The PG-1 is equipped with a 114cc single-cylinder engine from the Yamaha Sight underbone, celebrated for its remarkable efficiency and reliable performance. Producing nine horsepower and 9.5 Nm of torque, this engine delivers consistent power across various terrains.
The PG-1 is loaded with features across three main areas: Rugged Outdoor Performance, Functional Design, and Timeless Aesthetic. Its H-shaped front fork boosts rigidity and stability, offering a sport bike-like appearance. This design ensures superior shock absorption on rough roads and better handling on uneven surfaces. Block-patterned tires adjust to diverse surface conditions, providing balanced performance. The PG-1’s 190mm ground clearance helps avoid off-road obstacles, with added protection from rubber boot covers. The wide-dimension swingarm enhances rigidity and minimizes vibration, ensuring a comfortable ride on rough roads and over long distances.
The dual seat configuration has separate sections for the rider and luggage, providing generous space and flexibility. The 5.1L fuel tank allows for a substantial range, perfect for stress-free weekend getaways. The upright handlebar and slim body design enable a natural, standing, and relaxed riding position. The analog instrument cluster features a gear indicator, circular speedometer, and oval-shaped fuel gauge for easy reading. Round headlights and taillights contribute to a rugged yet timeless appearance, while the compact design encourages exploration and long rides with its durable charm.
