      100% it was. Fury arguably won round 1 and 5. I struggle to give him more rounds than that. Some close rounds like 3,4 that could go either way in my opinion. But after scoring the fight twice I think 10-2 or 9-3 is the actual score.

    To directly answer the question I can't make the case for a Tyson win. Problem - in part- is to be the champ you have to demonstrably beat the champ. Secondly, in a David v Goliath fight it's hard to cheer for Goliath 😂

    Everyone’s under the Fury’s bullshit spell and he gets away with murder . What happened to finishing Usyk’s career and putting him in the hurt locker ?? More nonsense from Fury with his beard and how he was allowed his ridiculously high shorts I’ve no idea as they were clearly at least 5 inches too high . He did nothing to impose himself against the “middleweight “ and Frank Warren claiming 3 or 4 rounds victory was insane…..so he gave Usyk only 4 rounds?!?! 🤯

  • @simonbird8093

    As I said before I think Fury has to play the part - he has to shout and scream in order to maintain his market value and mystique - 'no man of woman born' and all that cobblers. He needs to gull the fanboys and an already biased media hungry for any controversy and hint of scandal.
    But he is a very, very fine boxer, an intelligent fighter,and, yes, a genuine fighting man. And when he's alone in the night, and there's no one to perform and parade to then I fully believe in his heart of hearts he knows that Usyk is simply the better fighter. Fury couldn't outbox him, and he couldn't bulk up and bully him. He will know that if they fight ten times then Usyk will most likely win all of them, maybe 9 times or at a stretch 8 as people have injuries and bad days.
    Usyk is just better.

    this was an interesting video, I think one of the biggest issues in boxing is you have judges and fans that for some strange reason refuse to give 10-10, the fact is we get rounds that are difficult to score where there is not a lot in it at times, if we score more 10-10 rounds , then the fighters that win the clear rounds get more recognition, and we will see a more accurate depiction on who wins a fight, because we get guys like Lomachenko losing to Haney because Haney nicked more close rounds that should have been 10-10 rounds even though Loma won more clear rounds in the fight, the same thing goes for the Fury v Ngannou fight, I think we need to change the scoring system in boxing, I have an idea how we should do it but I dont want to make this comment even longer

  • @wtwhizz
    @wtwhizz 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    There's no case for Fury winning. Just like there was no case for him winning the first time around against Usyk. I think the scorecards are a shock because people are finally seeing what scorecards for a non-A side Fury who isn't getting biased judging in his favor looks like. Remember, in the first fight to get a win on just one of the cards to make it a split, Craig "I took a fat envelope under the table" Metcalfe had to give Fury BOTH the 11th and 12th round. Just like when Glen Feldman gave BOTH the 11th and 12th round to AJ in his rematch with Usyk. In no way did either of those guys beat Usyk in both those rounds. It's absurdity.
    Tyson Fury is a loser. Frank Warren is a loser. Not because they lost a boxing match against Oleksandr Usyk. There's no shame in losing a competitive fight to a man who is going to go down as an all-time great. They're losers because they have been completely ungracious in defeat. Shake the man's hand, tell him good job, admit he was the better man on the night, and if you really "have the minerals" as Brits like to say, work to better yourself and come back stronger.
    Warren, in particular, needs to be put in his place. This man tries undermining Usyk's performances at every turn. Remember, he pushed the narrative that Usyk cheated against Dubois. That even though according to him Dubois landed a god-tier, legal punch on Usyk, that Usyk somehow also faked it and milked it to try and get Dubois disqualified. He also pushed Don Charles to go around calling Usyk a fake Christian. Just absolute vile stuff. We all understand he's going to back his fighters, but that kind of crap is just beyond the pale.

  • @jdoc1357b9g
    @jdoc1357b9g 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I thought Usyk won and wasn't surprised by the cards, but I think there is a way to score for Fury. On first watch I had 1 3 5 9 12 to Fury, and 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 11 to Usyk, and 10 I didn't score because I didn't have a clear opinion on first watch.
    So that's either 7-5 Usyk or 6-6 draw, depending on how you go with round 10.
    2 and 4 were pretty close, and Fury did have some good work in those rounds, so if you shift one or both of those to Fury you could get a Fury win.
    The first fight was like this too I thought. You could get to a Fury win by like a point if you gave him all the swing rounds, but the thing is, most people are just not going to score it that way, and most fans aren't going to see the fight that way. If you have to fall a certain way on the swing rounds to get one guy the win, most people (and most scorecards) are going to think the other guy won.

    I don't t like giving 10-10 rounds either but if you cannot give a distinct win to one fighter over another then its the only sensible way to go. Its most unfair if you give the round to one man when they haven't truly deserved it. Like the AI judge I gave the 1st a 10-10 and I felt the 12th was rightly a draw too, i just edged it to Fury simply because Id hardly given him anything else for several rounds.

    There's not much more I could add to be honest. I would absolutely struggle to give Fury anything more than 4 rounds in their second fight, I think 3 rounds for Fury is the most I could give him, I'd be generous to give him a 4th & even then that'd play on my mind.
    Slightly off topic, but I find Team Fury's reactions & views quite fascinating, albeit completely idiotic. This is what happens when people surround themselves with others who blow smoke up their a***s & tell them what they want to hear, this is one of the problems with Fury, he needs that as motivation & when he accepted that it was always going to be a matter of time before he reacted the way he has.
    I've heard Usyk state on several occasions that his team don't dish out compliments towards him, but are hard on him. He also said in an interview a day or so ago, after the Usyk Vs. Fury 2 fight, when he was starting out he was very arrogant, he could do this and that, but when he got associated with his team they quickly got that out of him & kept him down to earth. Soon after in the same interview, he got asked if he was an all time great (or words to that affect), he simply more or less said, I don't think about that, I'm just a Boxer. Polar opposite mentalities, also very fascinating.
    Fury has that much smoke blowed up him he could identify as a chimney with a preferred pronoun of, brick.
    Sorry for the off topic part, but it'd be interesting to hear your views on that aspect, Joe.
    All the best, Joe.
