That first rooster did what we call the death climb. They get hit and instinct kicks in and they fly straight up then plummet to the ground. Great job holding off on shooting it again!

What was wrong with the second bird that flushed. Too far away 😂😂 As for thinking the third bird was cool 😮😮 you must really like the taste of lead. I think a stick would have been more appropriate.
