Interesting. My niece wants to go to GT. I'm your parents age. I went there 30 years ago, and wanted to get a sense for what it's like there now. West Village didn't exist then. The only dining hall on West Campus was on the first floor of Woodruff. Brittain dining hall used to be all you can eat. A lot of things have changed, but at the same time, a lot has stayed the same. We had the same arguments over whether it's better to live on East Campus or West. Good luck with your studies. You are fortunate that GT isn't as cut-throat as it used to be, when statistically only 1 in 3 freshmen would graduate.

Is all the food in the video part of the meal plan or did you pay with your own money. I keep hearing that the food is bad at tech. Would love to get your opinion
d patra the food was all from meal swipes that come with the meal plan!! food at places like umami at west village and mazi at student center aren't bad at all and some items from certain places are pretty good. not all food here is bad, you just have to taste different things and find the right ones :)
Nicole Kye hey congrats on your acceptance!! thats awesome☺️ as for requirements i suggest you visit tech's webpage about it. the requirements are clearly listed for you and you will also be meeting with your advisor every semester to plan out your years at tech. as for difficulty, i found my chem classes much more difficult than my bio classes. for bio, as long as you put in sufficient effort (do hw on time, attend lecture, study at least a few days before the exams) you should be successful. being successful in chem will require a bit more work in my opinion. overall, difficulty aside, my experience at tech has been amazing so far and i'm sure youll love it here. good luck!

thank you!!! i'd say to try to make new friends as soon as you get here and don't overload yourself with work and activities. it's all about balance :)
oops misread your question! for tips to get into ga tech, it’d be to be genuine and authentic in your application, show your interest in the school by doing research ahead of time/see how you can incorporate that into your essays, and have multiple people read over your essays so you can get different perspectives. feel free to DM me if you want me to help look over yours. hope i get to see you here someday 😊

hopkins on east is nice bc it recently got renovated (that's where i was freshman year). fitten and freeman are good choices on west!
