      I help part time on 3 farms in my Valley, mostly bale hay, and for one of the farmers, we use 7 tractors on 7 baler's, JD's 7280, 7800, 7400, 6420, a couple 6430's and the one I drive 4230, then they have 2 more tractors 7000 series with rakes, and they may have another tractor im not aware of.

    Lived in Michigan my whole life, I’m so grateful for our AG farmers/ranchers. Also the Automotive factories at different times in my life where like liquor stores. When I grew up there was 3-4 plants within ten miles of each other. Some places it’s like that and others not as much. Two engine plants across the street from each other….great video Chris

    I grew up between Flint and Saginaw in a small town called Montrose. Most of my family worked at GM. My grandparents met there. Ironically, my grandma was my grandpa's secretary at Truck and Bus. We have some pretty cool stuff here in Michigan. A lot of pretty big farms. Ours is quite a bit further north of where you were. Also, we don't have a huge equipment lineup like that. We just cash crop a little more than 500 acres. But we are pretty partial to John Deere tractors and Case IH combines. Have fun on the rest of your trip

    my mostest ever favorite tractor 4440, ours had probably 16,000 hours when dad stopped farming, i am poss i put at least 14,000 hours in that 4440 I cut hay i cut garain, i pulled my combine with it, i cultivated with it, i cleaned pens with it, i hauled bales with it, might say i lived in that tractor.. best tractor dad owned

      I BEEN TRYING TO REMEMBER BUT AM SURE MY COMBINE WAS A 7781 jd I KNOW I COULD BE REALLY WRONG ON THE series size. I combined around 500 acres a year with it. i did the 160 i had and helped dad if him and brother were not done when i was. dad's had way to big of hills for that trctor to pull the combine up or brake it goin down. was a small tractor for the combine. I paid 2000 for the combine so was a good buy.

    • @Jd-bc1fz
      @Jd-bc1fz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@karriefalon7779 best machine you can you is when no money is spent after the purchase. They were great machines back in the day. Better thing is you ran it with a sound guard tractor. 4440 4430 4450 best tractors out there Evan to this day. Young lady you picked the best.
