I’ve had a wonderful teacher that’s taught me very well for 2 years now. I sightread everything I learn. You can do it too just focus hard and set goals for yourself!
@@JacobGreer51 I want to learn by decoration songs like the Op 10 no 12 and Op 25 no 5, but is too out of range for my skill, (i have 2 months of piano) even trying to decorate
@@lyrocon5951 You can do it! The best advice is to sightread as much as possible. It’s the only way to learn pieces as fast as possible. Learning by decorated is much harder than sightreading long term. I started out watching people playing to learn music and I thought it was an effective way to learn until my teacher had me sight reading.
This is good, I also started late and did challenging repertoire like this, I would recommend improving finger strength so it’s easier to be even, start of with hanon 1 in all keys(move on to other ones if u want) do legato thirds and trilling on all fingers, this is what I did and now my technique is very good
@@JacobGreer51 i started when i was 8 played for about a year, then quit. I started again less than two years ago and i can now play Chopins 1st ballade!
At times the LH isnt even. I would try practicing in groups, different rhythms and of course with metronome. And also be aware of the wrist movements. And you you have any tips for the polyrhythms?
I would encourage you to practice that section very slow with a metronome. I would try humming the melody, or tapping the melody. At the same time, leave the right hand out. You can also close the lid and tap the rhythm slowly. My teacher told me to play the left hand and have your right hand in position but don’t play it. This really helped me with coordinating both hands together and memorizing. It can also work vise versa. You should be using no pedal when you’re practicing these passages. Something you also mentioned was practicing in different rhythms. You should attempt doing that on these passages. I’m not great at giving advice to people but I hoped this helps in some way. Hopefully it helps you in your practice sessions and I wish you good luck in the future with it! Thanks for your tips as well! Appreciate you checking out my content!
Great performance! Tip unrelated to performance: Try not to include more than 15 hashtags in the description because I think then all are ignored by the algorithm. I remember reading it somewhere, and in general, less the better outcome.
I'm super impressed by the use of the left hand. So fast and precise for a great overall rendition. Great job! 👍🏻 🎶💫💙🎹 AL
Thank you!
Sick progress! 🔥
I gotta get back to practicing this
Thank you!
This piece is wonderful for the left hand. Good luck practicing!
Fantastic & Revolutionary 🎼🎶🎶🎶🔥

How do you played it with just 2 years of progress?? do you read the sheets or decorated?

@@JacobGreer51 Read this specific piece by sightread is almost impossible (in the original speed) i think
It’s very difficult I totally agree. For this kind of piece I would just memorize as you go since it’s hard to keep your eyes on the page.
Amazing!

Thank you! This is great advice especially multiple keys. I do hanon but only in the key of C. How long have you played for now?

Oh wow! That’s impressive! Great work you should record it. Recently I have been looking through Ballade no.2 I’m thinking about learning it.
@@JacobGreer51 ballade 2 seems difficult( but I feel once u get the hang of it, it isn’t that bad) the first isn’t that bad so u should start with it

Thanks for your advice!
For the polyrhythms, which section are you talking about?
@@JacobGreer51 the recapitulation, when the LH is like in the beginning and the RH makes like extra steps. From measure 52 on.

This piece is so awkward on the fingers lol
What’s your reach?
It’s definitely awkward. I reach C to E and my friend can somehow barely reach C to G 😂
@@JacobGreer51 We have the same reach aha, C to G a fifth 💀 or 12th 💀💀
