Goat kids meet Thistle’s newest babies!

- Do goat mom’s know which kids are theirs? A resounding yes! Will they let other kids nurse? Nope! Not unless the kids are super sneaky. Thistle’s three boys are just a couple days old so she was very intent on keeping track of them when all the kids were out this morning while their mom’s ate breakfast. She fairly politely pushed away kids that did not belong to her and kept her three close. They are beginning to hop but they are no match for the kids who are at least 2 weeks old now who almost seem like they can fly! The newborn triplets were very tired out once I finally sent the rest of the kids out to pasture with their moms!

I love the sound of the little clattering hooves as the goat kids jumping up and down like flummy balls. Mama Thistle has to put the older kids in their place so that they don't overrun the newborn babies too wildly.😅 Absolutley cute❤ This video make my day this morning👍😘
OMG...What a sweet mess 😊And Mama Thistle always in the middle .Like a little watchdog, she looks after her babies and always pushes the others away .She's really a great mom. The itty bitties had a BIG weekend welcome party! Reminds me of driving home from the lake with us kids sprawled out in the back of the station wagon, sawing logs...all sunburned and happy as clams!
I loved those station wagon days!
My dad got a Rambler Classic wagon. We went everywhere in it, usually in the back, unless it was loaded up with beach or vacation trip luggage. Ah, the memories. ❤❤❤

In one of your other videos you described how mother goats pushes away other baby goats. This video shows this behavior very well. Mom is very clear to the other kids that she’s not a milk dispenser for everyone.

Thank God for Sunflower Creamery kids! I found an entire herd of the these goats at the Budapest Zoo! They are in the petting zoo and the children just love them. I gave the minders the link to your channel and they loved it! Thank you so much!
Oh how wonderful! I visited my brother once in Budapest! What an incredibly beautiful city and the woman we stayed with is someone I still remember fondly decades later!
