If he costs city a title then he knows he is losing out on potentially 10-15 years of 300k special game bonuses.

@ That is my point, I will even rat things that benefited Liverpool for example, Paul Tierney was our Mike Oliver until Klopp cleared the air and then he was a completely different ref .... how is that possibly objective and fair.
Arteta and Klopp have made the PGMOL look like the incompetent fools they are, and it always comes back to bite us.
I am hoping to create a forum soon to build an official channel of comms to change the way the governing bodies act without any real consequence or standard, it is a long shot but I'm genuinely tired of having no say with VAR and the standard of referees and the premier league in general.
The aim is to have safe and stringent practices whether its Liverpool and Arsenal or Ipswich and Wolves.
      All the best gunners

Gomez got a yellow for an ankle breaker - turned out to be a second yellow. And he kicked the ball away earlier and didn’t even get called for a foul!! When he was already on a yellow.
    MLS decision was a disgrace?
But how does it compared to a sample of these decisions this season:
    1. Saliba red for last man at half way line
    2. Trossard second yellow for kicking ball away
    3. Rice second yellow for tapping ball away after he got got fouled?
    4. Saliba penalty when he head the ball and made contact with opponent?

    • @Zeke_91C
      @Zeke_91C 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

All of these are spot on. Also trossard one was 0.6 seconds after ref blew the whistle. His instinct was to clear the ball and he was already on his way to kicking the ball before the ref even blew! Refs have been paid off!

    1. The Declan Rice red card vs Brighton
    2. Trossard red card vs Man City. Plus all that extra time they played until City scored.

Refs have to start in grassroots getting paid £30 and getting abused. If somehow they survive and make it to the lower leagues, they get a huge increase to £80-£300 per game. EFL refs get £38-£42k per year and £600-£1k per game. PL referees get £70k-£200k, then £1-2k per game. Assistant referees get paid less.
These guys are in charge of games with £ billions being bet on each game. They need to double the amount of refs to create a wider pool to draw from (so they can rotate or demote poor performers), and increase salaries, especially at grass roots, to get better people in to the profession.

Anyone that watches football knows that’s not a red, knows rice wasn’t a red, knows Trossard wasn’t a red. Last week Havertz wasn’t a handball, Havertz goal against Liverpool was perfectly good. Saliba I have never seen a red for that on the half way line and won’t again. And we have video refs….. bs

If there’s corruption and an agenda against Arsenal, why would the referee have sent off the Wolves player?

Listen to yourselves. A referee makes a decision you do not agree with. Disputing a referees decisions has been around since the incipient of the game. Discussing controversial incidents in the pub after a game has always been there. It’s these myopic and biased shooters are the issue. Gross incompetence !! Tell me one referee that has not made a decision that a team or fan base has disagrees with ?

Last season at Liverpool, Odegaard was playing basketball in the box. No penalty was given to Liverpool. Luis Diaz scored a perfectly good goal at Spurs, VAR messed it up and the goal wasn't given. Doku kungfu kick against MacAllister at Anfield in the box, no penalty given. Where was this guy saying that it was corruption? You won today against a very poor Wolves team. Play like this against Man City next week and you'll be slapped! Move on! Arsenal scored when it was 10 vs 10! So what's the crying all about? 🤣🤣.

PGMOL is not fit for purpose. VAR was introduced to help them make better decisions but instead the referees just use VAR to back up the idiot on the field and allow poor decisions to stand. If you're an Arsenal fan how can you trust that the game is not rigged when Michael Oliver is the referee? Nothing that I've seen makes me think that the PGMOL is anything other than a bunch of petty weak minded blokes mostly from the Manchester area that hold grudges and act out agendas when they go on the pitch. Who knows maybe they cost the league last seaon. Strange how Manchester City are rarely ever the victim of refereeing controversy.

The guy on the left is literally talking like he’s not even an Arsenal fan 😂 I get it professionalism and maturity and all that… but a spade is a spade, it’s got to be called out for what it is!
    Unfair refereeing!
Regardless of where it stems from! Unfair refereeing in the premier league is unacceptable. Us as fans don’t have to accept it. It’s not right and it never will be.
We’ve been unfairly treated so often and so outrageously, that it does seem like something fishy is going on. And often, a consensus gut feeling can end up being right or having some truth to it. Combine that with the evidence. That’s basically what a jury does isn’t it? Trust the evidence and their gut and come to a decision?

listen, football was in the old days a sport for the mob, where only the very richest in society made money. It hasn't changed. Those at the top sit and laugh at how naive people are about their belief that there is no corruption in sport. the flow of money in football is such a large quantity that the human brain cannot comprehend it. How can you seriously believe there is no corruption with so much money in circulation? Naivety.
