Beaten and battered as Batman but he never gives up, instead he's always trying to fight back and show that there's always at least one person willing to fight against evil and injustice. It's amazing how this song also reminds me of one of my other favorite superhero series, Teen Titans 2003. A lot of the relationships echo the themes of this song with how obsessive and paranoid the characters can get with each other in either facing their enemies or trying to keep their romances afloat in the middle of all that.
