You don't see Shreya in the video - she's a playback singer. The actress who you see (Deepika Padukone) is lip syncing to Shreya's singing. Nicely explained. Thinking of it, playback singing seems to be unique to Indian movies.
@@TheKomentor Thank you. You are right - I'm not aware of other cultures that have playback singers like this - where the actors lip sync. I personally find the lip synching cheesy but I appreciate that often the style of music is too complex for a non-professional to perform.
