This show itself was fucking horrible the acting the stories the cg was brutal but Cole actually made it watchable he was easily the best character/ actor on the show. Him and Prue actually had a good back and forth good vs evil thing going when they killed her off and tried to replace it with paige the show went down hill but i still liked the cole character when they killed him off it just made me hate paige more then i already did. The only reason i even watched this shitty show was because my wife liked it but when the introduced Cole i started to enjoy it. "slightly "

I like how Cole says, "let me go see what I can find out", as he tries to slip away, like he already knows that this is going to be a heated family argument that he just wants to get as far away from as possible. Then, acting all surprised, he throws Phoebe under the bus with, "you let Paige take the Book from the house?"
"To vanquish your sister? I think I'll sit this one out" - that's pretty dark humor few days after the death of the first sister, isn't it? :D Also this is exactly the moment where you can notice how Piper switched to Prue's position of being the most responsible one and "hating" the youngest sister, Phoebe switched to Piper's position of being the bumper between those two and Paige taking Phoebe's place of being the youngest and doing whatever she wants, also experimenting with magic in her own way :D

I think Piper makes a better oldest sister than Prue. I'm not saying that Shannon didn't act as well, it's just that Piper is best as the oldest and I think that's why Charmed continued to work so well even after a major character death. I loved that short time in season 4 when Cole was still a demon, but good. Because...he was good....but he still made the most sarcastic/nonchalant, and at times just inappropriate comments ever. He was hilarious, and cute as hell lol. Julian is such a great bad guy. He's downright menacing. And I think it's because he's so calm and charming in his evilness, it's kinda sexy lol.
