Good stuff Mike. I know if you wait for them to fall on their own, they get soggy pretty fast. But we're not going to need firewood this deer season in the U.P. It's going to be 75 and sunny just like it is now.
I had this years camp wood done in March because I had a knee replacement in April, I’m going to try to get it done early every year because the pressure is off! Happy hunting!
@@Lifeinthe906 yes wanted to go for 2 weeks but work said no to busy so I’m going for the first 4 days then come back work a few days then go back with the young bucks till end is season. Not what I wanted but nothing I can do about it. Working 7 days is getting old☹️
Hey Mike , nice job on getting the wood shed almost full . That was a nice pole saw also . My sister just got back from Mackinac island . She and her husband went there for vacation . Is that anywhere near you . They lived it there . My daughter killed her first deer this year so I had tenderloin for breakfast today !! 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵🦌

Those Husqvarna 550XP’s are just awesome saws. I think it is my favorite saw of my 12 saws 6 of them being Husqvarna XP models.
@@Brian-Outdoors I agree. I use the 550XP most of the time for firewood.

Nice going, I really need to get a pole saw
@larrykluckoutdoors8227 HI Larry. The pole saw is a great tool . I been using it a lot since I purchased it this summer.

It’s easier to hire a tree service and take down the whole tree, that is what I just did. But now I have to clean up the tree

@@Lifeinthe906 oh ok . The tenderloin was amazing .
Good to see you wearing PPE imagine it is a bit to the hospital from camp. Measuring device is slick. Wish I had had one in my wood cutting days. Best
@tomm2812 Not too far to the ER but I try to stay out of there if I can !
