I shedded a few reflex tears when Frank Sinatra was unable to get on the train to the happy ending , in the movie ‘ Von Ryan’s Express’ as shown at counter 7.55 that I watched in the mid-60’s at Royal ( Lai Sing) Theatre, Mongkok.
Thank you so much! I am seventy, has been living in Hong Kong and Mucau for sixty seven years. I enjoy walking through all the streets in these two cities by myself since very small in age. After retirement, I maintain in average 10 km daily visit to villages and streets at different districts to refresh my memories. Thank you so much, Mr Lees and Mr Chans for bring back so valuable pictures of my first impressions on these lovely cities. I can recognise almost all the sights and buildings in them. I am lucky to be one may share such priceless works left behind for this world. Thank you!!!😊
I'm glad to see others happy when we all can go back in time together with these films, I preserved from late father's collection before they deteriorate. The 60's and 70's were special times in Hong Kong and so much has changed since.
I lived in Hung Hum , Kowloon for 12 years , hired by PanAm ( Pan American Airlines) in 1969 and later left HongKong in January 1970 to meet my papa in USA at age 20 . Settled down in USA ever since and now I am 75 . I couldn’t remember much of the HongKong then . Thanks for your video that allow me to view and refresh my memory about my old town in the 60’s which was my school years there . ❤ 👍 , ☕️🍰🍦
