Avoid This Bus Mistake In Malaysia! 🇲🇾

- I took the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Penang Island. Unluckily the train was fully booked for the next couple of days. That bus was cheap, I paid less than $10, and the ride was smooth. I just have to get used to arrive at the bus station early and to always print my tickets. And there was another (funny) issue inside the bus.
When I arrived in Penang, I took a taxi with the 'Air Asia App' and then I searched for a hotel. After that you'll see me eating Indian food and sweets.
Finding a coffee shop in Penang that is open longer than 4PM or at least 7PM is a struggle. I felt that the best coffee shops are just open during the daytime.

Malaysian are friendly people and approachable.. only that they respect your privacy perhaps and stay away
If you at penang you might want to try Merlin Hotel Nasi Kandar, Mee Sotong Hameed Pata Makan & you can order Ais Batu Campur (ABC) next stall as dessert. Its refreshing and helps cool down your body. I would recommend you to try Hameediyah but its expensive. So you can try Restoran Nasi Kandar Line Clear or Nasi Kandar Deen Maju. You can choose and compare among all the nasi kandar's you eat and decide which one is to your liking.
I'm absolutely insane about Indian food and Garlic naan with ghee is a must! The mango 🥭 lassi is a meal in itself and they do sweeten it with a lot of sugar. Admittedly I don't remember trying Indian sweets so hope it was good! 😋😄

I have been to Penang several times. I like to stay at Airbnb in Armenian Street, a budget hotel but comfortable and well-equipped because it is a tourist hotspot and very close to the Kapitan Restaurant that you visit as soon as you arrive in Georgetown. In Penang there are many places to visit and many places to eat if you are used to there. But I went to Penang just to change the atmosphere and walk in the beach area at Batu Feringghi.

You need to look into yourself a little to notice the way you go about making content lacks proper intuition. You need to do some reading about the country you are visiting to know what is going on there. Simply talking to foreign workers or foreigners and making assumptions would only reflect negatively on yourself. Bear in mind viewers compare what you narrate and comment with hundreds of other western tourists who have been to Malaysia. Please be aware of it. I can tell you what makes me the most happy while traveling / vlogging: Interactions with locals. It was clearly missing in that vlog. Sometimes you just cannot force these interactions. Like in the bus for example. I didnt feel to have a conversation with my seat neighbour. And I also didn't feel like walking to the back of the bus for filming. It's always like this...so when you see me having fun with locals in other videos then it's because I felt like that was what I right now wanted to do. Sometimes I also stop filming if I feel there's a weird atmosphere or nothing much is going on around me
And beside that the places from the vlog were pretty touristic. But don't worry. There will be more than enough local and funny vlogs in the future 🥳
