I was complaining out loud that the stuff inside was too small, and it left too much space, but I said it really wrong, and I ended up saying "it needs to be bigger on the inside". And I immediately was like "bigger on the inside! I can't believe I actually said that, by accident, when talking about Doctor who stuff! That was the best!"
Baha, I'm glad you had a Who moment in writing Gallifreyan! I'm kinda surprised people are still watching this video of mine; in fact, I was meaning to put out a correction, since the table I used was slightly off (the two-line column and the one-line column are switched).
If a word starts with a vowel, you treat the word circle as the first letter, while keeping the vowel at the bottom-most part of the word. There's a few good examples on Circular Gallifreyan, our facebook page!
Then you treat the first vowel as the consonant circle for the next. Of course, if they're the same letter, you can just use double lines when writing out that letter. If it's an A then an E, for example, the E goes inside the A.
There have been a few episodes of Dr. Who that I've seen Galifreyan written in circles but in a straight line. Does each word go like we write today? One word after the other?
i was going through your designs in fb. they look so pretty, the aesthetic is awesome, i love the curved lines.. any tips on how to improve that? or where can i find some inspiration? besides your fb account of course 😊
+Fuzzthefurr And I'm sorry but I didn't really understand who to put the punctuation. Maybe you said it but I'm french so I don't understant everything =/ Did you do another video on that ? Or have you an advice, a link ? Thx
Thanks for the vid I love dr who I’ve always wanted to write my name in gallifrayen but I still can’t get my head round it I know you haven’t uploaded in a few years but could you do a video writing my name
how you do numbers? they exist in gallifreyan, but i've seen diferent guides and i don't know which is the correct way to do it. can you do a video explaining that?
re-watching the video i've noticed you have a wrong grid of symbols, if you go to Sherman's official website and look his guide, he has H,P,W,X with 2 lines and G,N,V,QU with 1 line. He too explains that C exist as a K but with 4 dots and even has a sing for "Ñ" (used in spanish) Aside that, now that i've found the oficial guide i have the answer to how to write numbers but would be good if you do the video explaining that and also how to deal with long words, sentences or paragraphs for me and the rest of people. Also i'm interested in what seems squere Gallifreyan. why you do it?Finally just as a curiosity, i've seen that Sherman also has a Gallifreyan music writing guide and a Math guide and these too can be interesting videos if you dare to try them. Your Gallifreyan friend from Spain.
+Ruben Caballero ...shit. You have no idea how much work I'm going to have to re-do because Sherman put the order as three lines, one line, two lines. God... dammit.
Just to be a bit picky. I thought the 'e's when you wrote Serena looked a lot like 'a's. I would have put the e through the curved line of the consonant. If this is not even close to correct I would appreciate a reply if not, happy circles
Every guide I'm finding shows N has one line. Google Image 'Circular Gallifreyan', over and over different posts, different handwriting, different charts show one line for N.
Firstly thanks for the video. But I think the tabe is wrong. The translatorwrote app wrote my name (Noah) differently. As I searched I found different tables. The “n“ has only one line on all of them.
Hi! I was able to download serif draw plus, would it be possible for you to upload or send by mail the project of those pre-made circles you have on the left of your serif window just to ease the making of the writing? thanks a lot.
+Ricardo M. ~Sure thing! I have actually been thinking about doing this for a while, though they're easy enough to make on your own if you know how. I'll comment with a link once I've uploaded them somewhere.
+Fuzzthefurr thanks a million I'm new at Serif that's why I asked you for that :P these are my first steps with the program, and that would help a lot, thanks!
This is an old video and I thing the 3 line Column and the 1 line column are switched, but does anyone know what that square looking alphabet is called?
How would you distinguish which vowels come first in a word if they are next to eachother in English? My name is Naomi, but if I were to write the a and o in the n, it could be confused as Noami, which also happens to be a name 😅 I have yet to find someone who explains this. Thanks in advance!
+Naomi M. If a word has two vowels, say for example "Soul", the O would be treated as a new letter in respects to where the U goes. So, the U goes inside the O. Same with Naomi - the O goes after the A, and as such, treats it as a letter; the O inside the A on the N. It's all circular. I hope this helps!
The fact you can put the dots anywhere as long as it’s clear which word it goes to brings different handwriting to a whole new level
I fear no man but that thing (dots anywhere) it scares me

You said you would cover sentences in another video soon but it's been 5 years and this is your most recent video!
What if a word starts with a vowel
dotted line around the main inner line I suppose?
If a word starts with a vowel, you treat the word circle as the first letter, while keeping the vowel at the bottom-most part of the word. There's a few good examples on Circular Gallifreyan, our facebook page!
@@Fuzzthefurr How would you know the first letter is an O not J then?
@@sarahglover3286 Make it tiny enough to where it shouldn't be a J, I suppose. Context of the word would also matter, like in many other languages.
Since apparently I can't reply to that comment (what the hell?), the software I'm using is Paint Tool Sai (english pack), and then Serif Drawplus.
This video was very helpful thank you! What if there are 2 vowels next to each other?
My name is Mai and my friends name is Olivia

no you just make it the next leter

Still waiting on the next vid.
I wanted to write Autumn, but what do I do with so many Bowles? Where does the A start considering there is no previous letter for it to latch onto?
I don’t know why but i found this video explaining how to write in circles
What is the difference between a full stop and an "e" at the start of a word (eg, it doesn't follow a consonant)? Thanks
It’s been 4 years, where is the next video you mentioned? I’d like to see more about how to write in circles
Good question.
@@Fuzzthefurr bruh
@@Fuzzthefurr Dude really the anticipation is real
@@Fuzzthefurr It's been another 4 years... where video...?
I thought H, P, W have 2 lines and G, N, V have just one line.
But thanks for your video :) I learnt many things about Circular Gallifreyan ;)
+Thaïs Lopam Yeah, I screwed up my graph. x~x Shame on me.
It does not matter, don't worry ;)

I'll upload another video soon better explaining it, but we have a facebook page too; Circular Gallifreyan.
Could you put a link to the file/layout in the comments? :) I would very much appreciate it!
