Evidently, GoStadium has been advocating for a moveset update, in the form of Shadow Claw (fast move) and Fly (charge move), to Salamence for a while. Giving it those moves would make it a beast for PvP and let it stand out as a unique dragon with ghost damage, quicker energy gain, and a cheap but strong flying move. (I imagine getting Fly would turn Mega Salamence into a halfway decent flying attacker as well.) I hope it gets those moves someday!
This Pokemon will absolutely be worth it in my opinion I was lucky enough to get a 100IV wild Bagon and I managed to get myself a 91IV Salamence from the raids they did not long ago with IV's of 14/13/13 my 91IV has both Draco Meteor and Hydro Pump whereas my 100IV only has Draco Meteor still though this thing will be a ball to play with
I think mega garchomp is above because it has slightly more hp, and 10-15 more defense than mega Rayquaza, although Mega Rayquaza has 180 attack while mega garchomp has 170 attack, the defense and hp makes garchomp last longer in battle

We need to go outdoor of course you can play static but not a best option, you all probably need to travel by transport in order to desired places to play. That why a lot of players play augmented reality mobile games by spoofing way, this is shortcut and much easier.
Probably more of a delima in the legendaries where XL candy is harder to come by. But do you throw XL candy at one to mega or a shadow first is the question? Really for any Pokemon that has both. Even though it isn't out yet I have XL Mewtwo candy I can't decide to power one up for a mega later or throw it at shadows
It’ll depend on the break point for pvp, and sneaking a whole drag tail worth of energy always is better. Dragnite tail is much better. Drag tail also has higher engery Gen.
Which mewtwo should i give shadowball? So: I have to powered up mewtwos. one is a shlucky (15/14/13) 4000cp and one a shadow (15/6/13) 3350cp. Both have confusion and psystrike and i finally saved up enough rare candies to give one of the a second move (shadow ball). Which one should i choose? (i dont think i will power up my shadow mewtwo up alot more, because it requires so many candies that i dont really have?
@mattercolini7451 Once you purify a Pokémon, it becomes a regular Pokémon but just slightly less costly to power up. Since you have a good shadow T-Tar, I recommend saving it and try to find a better one during the Larvitar Comm Day at the end of this month.
I mean like Mega is strong but u can only have one per battle. Dont they just die after like 1 charged move in the 5 star raids? I mean like does it really make a difference when u can invite 5 more people to do raids with u nowadays?
I always thought Draco Meteor was the community day move for dragonite AND Salamence.. well this event is useless to me now because even if i got the hundo bagon from research i cant evolve it without spending money.
If you're looking to turn it into a raider, yes. You'll want an elite TM or wait until GO Tour Hoenn, but if you want a good raid mega, Salamence is going to be your best option until Garchomp or Rayquaza come out. If you want a good PVP mon, keep shadow. Megas have far more benefit overall than shadows in raids, boosting your allies and Mence as a mega is slightly better than shadow as the video shows.

I’m positive that for Hoen tour we will be able to evolve for outrage. They have done legacy moves for the past two go tours.

Salamence gets tons of bulk allowing it to stay in the fight and gives friends the dragon type attack boost
If Hoenn tour is anything like the previous 2 tours, you should be able to get outrage on that day

When they are top level mega you get a free evolution every three days. If you have three you always have a free evolution available.

Ive been mega evolving a dragon type everyday for the extra candy, does suck mega sala faints quick but the extra candy helps the grind imo 🎉

Not really; mainly because if you're fortunate to get a high IV one in raids, just use that one.

To not use mega energy since you can do it freely every 3 days if you have 3 of them you’ll never have to use mega energy

Elite tms aren’t that rare tbh. You’ll get them through pvp for winning or for 1$ sometimes
Hoenn Tour is coming in feb 2023, I'm hoping that's where they'll bring back outrage for salamence
You can aquire an Elite TM from reaching rank 20 in Gbl rn, which is free. And, draco isn't even a bad move, outrage is just better.
I would use both moves if you can, Draco Meteor hits hard, however it can lead to wasted Energy, which Outrage covers.

Nah. Move set sucks. Glassy and it’s fastest charge move is Outrage.(legacy). Salamence needs DB and Dragon Claw. Talking for P v P only.
