I'm older and was talking with a player that was really young. I mentioned to him that I was glad I didn't start gambling until I was older. He tilted his head down sadly and almost started crying. He said he wish he didn't ever start. I told him he should stop for the day and do something different as a hobby for a few months, something purposeful. The "girlfriend" that was with him was there just for the money. I hope he gets out of that.
casinos aside, all men gamble on girls, and lose
@@DrSchor nah. thats some incel energy tho
Thank you Marc! I was in free play this weekend and turned it to 800 bucks. I was low rolling and I put 20 in at a time betting 50 cents on Dragon Link. Yes. I know you guys don’t suggest Dragon Link 🤣. When I get to between 8-10 dollars, I switch machines or cash out if I double and start with a fresh 20. Well. I found two machines that were paying out very frequently and hit the major in 50 cents and walked out with 800 in my gamble box. This doesn’t happen often but it gave me more amo for future visits. My bank roll is very small each trip. Thanks to your videos. I realized how often I do win by cashing out frequently.
You made a comment that is a KEY point. "Push the button at the right time." It does NOT change the machine's timing but it changes YOUR timing. Whether it be just taking another breath before hitting it or quick stopping (if available) it only changes YOUR timing. Although quick stopping does cost more and reduces your play time it does change YOUR timing. Gotta do something to play with the RNG.
Another great video, Marc. Haha I need sound from the machine I'm playing or I'm cashing out after first spin! Headed to Vegas tomorrow for my first real gambling trip since binging Gamble Smart and Cowboy Slots videos! It worked in Vancouver so I'm unrealistically optimistic! Haha. Thanks again Marc!
Good luck!
Thank you. I love listening to your tips. They are helpful
That advice on resisting to up the bet is a good one. I live near a local, thought I had $30 in freeplay but had none. Decided to put $20 in a Panda Magic to play anyway. Built that $20 to $160 on small bets of $0.50 and sometimes $1.00......then lost about 80% of the winnings going for more on $1.50 bets and not backing off that bet.
I do spin count, put 100 in a machine, play max of 2 bucks a spin, do 50 spins, cash out and walk away. Win or lose, I do that on 5 machines and have fun always come home with money, may be more then the 500 I started with or less, but never zero. Bonus spins are not in the 50 count,
Thanks Marc !
Thanks, Marc!
When you're on free play and you get a win hit the cash out button. You'll get the cash you just won and the free play stays on the machine. Keep doing that, then after all the free Play is gone you can make a decision as to whether or not you want to put your averted cash back in the machine. Marc, you won at least 50 more cash dollars that you fed back through the machine. At one point and about 47 spins(still in freeplay) you converted $94 freeplay into just over $100 real dollars.
My point is that you can decide to keep playing, but understand that you "switched" to playing off your winnings. People need to understand this and I'm not sure they do. I never ever hear it mentioned on any channel.
Most casinos once you've cycled through the free play you added you start playing on whatever cash you had in the machine or won with the free play. No need to cash out unless you're trying to convert free play into cash for purposes of taking someone else (e.g. home or another machine). If you just intend on cycling the free play wins back into the same machine it doesn't matter. You start earning credit for the play once the free play has all been wagered. Besides that this video wasn't about free play. It was about setting limits. He just happened to be using free play.
No it wasn't about freeplay but it was AT LEAST an opportunity to talk about a topic that never gets mentioned.
The first part of your reply was basically a recitation of what I was saying and something that doesn't get talked about. Or at least I never see it. I'm betting that there's a lot of people that don't know it works that way. If there's people who believe sound affects the play, there's people who don't know how this works.
Thanks Marc for these tips. Sometimes I don't do that 😭 and need to when I do get to go.
Your so right! Always chasing losses
Great stuff Marc. Was that King of coin in that bank of $1, max $10? Be careful of that max button people. Playing these class 2 machines of late I'm taking all wins and banking them, calling it quits at $20. $100 in out at $20 I may have banked $40 to $120 in wins or more over the course of play, and if I hit a good red spin, well. I came home $200 down this weekend. Took a break and had a burger at Cowboy Grill. Evaluating if I should go home, up $350...Played some class 3 machines, went to Frankenstein, was all taken. Gambling is gambling. Thanks for all the GSGS information and tips, good stuff.👍
I wish there were casinos nearby that are similar to the casinos near you. I live in Las Vegas NV and have played in the local casinos with no real experience to say I can build up on low budget. Maybe I’m playing wrong but will keep watching and learning.
The spin at 8:24 "wins" the competitive portion of the bingo game. The pay is $0.01.
Thank you.
Sometimes it’s better to completely stop, at least at places where you have no luck.
In the past 6 months, I’ve played 9 sessions/days at CET Vegas and lost all 9 sessions and was never ahead in any session betting $5-$100 without a single hand pay. Worst personal losing streak to date.... so feel a lil sore loser..
I had 2 other sessions at non-CET / non-Vegas casinos and won a hand pay jackpot within the 1st hour at both casinos betting $10.
Staying at Caesars palace fully comped next week but I will only play slots on Free Play and will just play high limit craps, blackjack, and baccarat.
There likely goes your future comps. But that's a personal decision. I personally like to keep my play consistent so I can earn consistent comps. Changing properties had very little to do with the wins you eventually had. It's easy for us to correlate, I change where I played and won so therefore I won because I changed where I played. That's simply not the case. You won/lost at random. It just happened to be at different places and times.
@@kevinb4079 perhaps you’re right but 9 four hour sessions at CET with bigger bets didn’t result in a single hand pay while 2 one hour sessions at non-CET casinos with lower bets resulted in 2 hand pays. Might just be bad timing but the my stats (36 hrs/0 handpay vs 2 hrs/2 hand pays) are just hard to ignore.
I absolutely would have moved machines a long time ago due to that machine not going red for way too many spins. That's just me though, you could have hit a big redscreen or line pay eventually but wasn't doing it for me.
Great tip. Tough not to increase bet when won alittle. Have to be strong! Cash out!
There is a time it's OK to bet more but I'll let them explain that in a future video as they said they would.
Im a progressive better and for me personally, its the best. I go with quite a few friends every week and only I do well ev
I play differently depending on the machine and $ level. If I'm playing a high volatile penny machine @$2 a spin I will put in $100 and hope for a bonus round or quit. If I play $1 Blazing Sevens 3-coin, I will go up to $150 because if you try to win on too few pulls you're likely not going to win very often. The other side is you can't put in too much otherwise even a bonus round won't cover your $$ put into the machine.
I would say to stay away from penny machines but can play multi denom machines at a penny as penny machines are know to have the worst RTP%.
@@mikepark1219 Since he is limiting his session bankroll to $100 it really doesn't matter. In fact betting more in pennies can be more advantageous then betting less credits at a higher denom, depending on the rules of the game. The small difference of RTP between pennies, 2c, nickles and dimes is not going to make a major difference at all with a $100 bankroll. You seem to be putting far too much weight in that very minor difference in RTP.
I like stopping the reels on class 2 machines. Is the reel predetermined or does stopping change anything?
Stopping reels does nothing on any machine. The outcome is determined the moment you press spin. That happens before the reels even start spinning. Though it doesn't seem that way because it all happens so fast.
@GambleSmart
That's an excellent question you have put in your video title Marc. Gambling by the very nature of it has always been meant for short term wins/sessions. In the case of slot machines, it actually indicates to the player if they won some money like when it plays very cinematic music, or the free games etc. That's the time I think that players should cash out. 🙂👍
Set your floor before you start and your ceiling once you win. Remember, while you can raise the ceiling of your home, lowering the floor will usually require a lot of digging!😂
Good info. Are you not working with cowboy slots anymore?
We do some colabs now and then.
Enjoyed yr tip today. I need u to come with me when I go to the Casino to pull me away from the machine when I reach my limit. HA😅
LOL!
The machines that I play on have a MAX bet of $2.00, Max win on a bonus or spin is $1000.00. Would you, or someone, explain the slot machine classes? I hear that word (class 2) etc.. quite often.
Just curious about the differences. Thanks for your content. Love your channel. New Subscriber, here.
There are really only 2 classes to know about. Class 2 is classified as a gambling device that doesn’t contain an RNG to determine the results. Instead, it’s based on the game of Bingo or the Virtual Lottery System. Class 3 (which is the most common), means you are playing against the machine’s RNG.
Descending triangle with lower highs pattern
I'm terrible at doing this. The chase always gets me.
You aren't the only one - it's really tough, but you gotta put stuff in place to help!
I limit 40 spins per machine
8:26 where did that penny suddenly come from? Hmmmm....
When you completely fill the card, you “win” that game of bingo, so you are awarded the prize. Which is $0.01 lol. They have to do this because of the rules on bingo. It’s strange.
@@GambleSmart I see,boy I
'm learning all kinds of new stuff about slots...Thanks!
If you mix free play cash with your money, the free play gets spun first
Depends on the Free Play system, but that is true for the ones that give you the credits immediately.
@@GambleSmart Was referring to WinStar, but yeah
if youre gonna stop at 50 why put 100 in????
Pretty sure it's because $100 is a very common bill in the casino. $50's can be problematic at times. I'm pretty sure not only was he using $100 as a common bill entered but it also allowed him to demonstrate setting both high and low stop limits. Otherwise the impression could be given that you're stop limit is when you run out of credits. A lot of people will have more credits in a machine then they intend to play that session so it's good to demonstrate how you need to be focused on your credit balance.
Thanks, Marc. I, for one, was happy there was no sound. I can't stand the sound of these class II machines. Sorry.
No need to apologize! You aren't alone!
Let me explain something to you. I am not a smart person am not a genius, and I definitely am not a brain surgeon. You cannot fucking win. End of story. Let me explain how slot machines work the sucker walks in the casino. The sucker sits down at the slot machine, the sucker puts the money in the slot machine. The sucker loses the money. The sucker walks out of the casino. Also one more thing if you could win, the casinos could not be open.
If you couldn’t win, nobody would ever play.
I hate it when theres no sound ,it takes away the fun of the game !!😀
Im a progressive better and for me personally, its the best. I go with quite a few friends every week and only I do well ev
Progressive betting seems the best way that works for me as well.
Bet 1 unit until lose 25x, then bet 2 unit until lose 20x bet, then bet 4 unit until lose 40x bet. Anytime I'm up during this progression, I take 1 backup spin then move on. End result is to Lose 225 units or hit a bonus and win or even. Sometimes I chase with the 8 units bet and risk 450-500 units.
My bankroll is usually 4000 units. This is the only way that I’ve ever come out ahead on slots in the past year.
I never came out ahead making the same bets with 100 units on a machine in the past year. There were times when I got up to ~110-120 units, but I don’t walk away until I'm up to ~150 units.
Recently, I've tried 11 classic 3 reel machines at $5 bet with $250 per machine and lost $250 on the 1st 10 machines and won $100 on the 11th machine at Chinook Winds in Oregon. Thereafter, I tried the more volatile machines and made back ~$500 with the progressive betting.
@FantasyYeet Mind sharing the slots that you usually play?
