I'm experiencing an adversity that I realized quite sone time ago that I knew I didn't have an answer. I knew my back was against the wall. My Father has been giving me information during this time to indicate His involvement in all of this. Felliw Christians, I am doing nothing to sokve my problems because I don't have answers. I knew I didn't have answers, so I decided to wait on the Lord. I'm not discussing this with others because as I have learned, even Christians will steer away from the Lord when facing adversity. Do I feel alone? Yes, but I hold on to the Lord knowing in the past, he did deliver me. To a better situation than I could've done for myself. Adversity brings painful learning, but I jeep holding on. Thank you.
God blessed the world with Dr Charles Stanley. This is a true teacher of the word of God. No bells or whistles just the word as it should be. Thank you for teaching us there is hope ❤❤

I can't count how many times I asked God to let me come home. I still trust Him and praise Him because He is worthy and still on the throne.
Through Dr Stanley's message God answered my desperate prayers of why the 3 years of suffering. Spiritual understanding and the willingness to stay on our Chosen Path of adversity produces spiritual growth and character transformation. Thank You God for preparing us in our earthly journey to be ready to receive our reward of eternal life when Jesus comes.

I've been bedridden and in extreme pain for over two years 24/7. I'm not sure why God is allowing this but I pray He uses it for His glory! And I pray He heals me someday soon. In Jesus name!

I also am in pain, and the last two years am almost unable to walk, I keep thinking of our poor jesus hauling that heavy cross up that hill and dying for us, so try to offer it to him. A picture I love is when poor jesus was in the garden before he died and an angel came to comfort him, I wish I could have an angel to stop me from sinning, I love you dear jesus. Please forgive me amen🙏🙏🙏

I love listening to dr. Charles I am an alcoholic, and feel so selfish when I drink, and poor folk and little babies don’t even have food, if anybody would pray for my recovery
I try to pray but don’t feel I am sincere, God help me please
I know Dr Stanley has often preached on recieving the counsel /fellowship of others, who've faced/overcome the same exact trials, who know the hellish pain/suffering that this affliction brings, so I felt a strong urge/prompting to respond. Have you ever tried a homeopathic/holistic approach to fighting this? I was an alki 75-95 and was as BAD as it GETS with constant pancreatitis (MAJOR PAIN!!!) the latter yrs (88-95) major depression/anxiety and God, with the help of my Moms expertise, implored me to fight this with key vitamins, amino acids, select herbs. Not sure if its allowed here but I could suggest a few things that helped me to get my "brain soup" to a savory seasoning? Ill be prayin for ya sis! (pray without CEASING), If your interested, Ill wait to see if me posting something like that is allowed?

I confess I can't remember JOY being my response in adversity. I had moments to try to force JOY but overall it is rough and I've faced almost all alone even as a member of a small group and church. That made it worse to b honest. But we also need to point out Paul's humanness so we can relate. Paul did experience depression, Paul did confess that in so much adversity on a ship, I believe, he wanted death. Also, Paul urges friends to connect with him bc of possibly loneliness. We have to be able to relate to the Bible or to me I just don't or won't get it or see them as super human. My struggle with mental illness and loneliness has impacted my life in ways I never saw coming. Yes ,choices but the heavy load of it all was like I had no choice but the ones I made bc I had zero real support, help, or clear guidance. The longer I live the more hellish and complicated I see things are and I no longer throw scriptures out so cold heartedly or at least I try not to. And in our pride we do scrutinize and compare others to our own situations when the dynamics can be so vastly different. Truly, I have no clue how to minister to people anymore
Dr.Stanley's teaching is still a blessing in my learning of God's word and i thank you more then you know.❤🕊

When I see father and daughter with loving kind relationships in tv or TH-cam, my heart cries because my father has turned wicked and cruel for the past 7- 8 years. He is adding poison in our food. Which gives me terrible stomach pain day in and day out. Especially he is against me because I follow Jesus Christ and also He has found another women in his life which I and my mother don't approve of. He is violent and screaming toward me everyday. Even yesterday for no reason he started a fight and repeatedly harassing me with very loud tone and trying to beat me. He wanted to know where I kept the keys for the car parking gate, our family knowing very well that he has both the keys but he creates a problem for small as a mole size into a huge mountain. He will deliberately leave his upstairs apartments open so that anyone can enter and steal his stuff and we advice him to lock the upstairs door when he not there but he won't listen. He intentionally comes down with great anger and introgate me for his lost things. Or sometimes even if the things are not lost he will still come and introgate and harras me and use very bad words and become very violent. I have lost hope in him that he will ever change. He has become a monster waiting to kill us. I pray that God should quickly intervene. I often ask God this question "My God my God, why have You forsaken me?". But my soul consoles me that God is my true and eternal Father in heaven.
