The International Criminal Court is seeking arrest warrants for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity over the October 7 attacks on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza, the court’s chief prosecutor Karim Khan told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in an exclusive interview on Monday.

I’m not excusing Israel’s actions but what Hamas did was a declaration of war. They were not engaged in a conflict at the time. I do believe Israel had a right to retaliate but the methods they have used has been extremely cruel. This is my thought but it’s only a speculation on my part.

The ICC has no authority over non member states, and if the Hague was foolish enough to actually manage to get Netanyahu arrested and put him in jail in the Hague, the Israeli government would view this as an act of war( just like the US said in 2019) and break him out with their military.
