I always enjoy this man story. I struggle with reading because I can never pay attention long enough so when I hear short stories I'm interested I read this boy's life and the great Barracks Thief by him now what I prefer is audiobooks so I don't have to read anything I just listen to somebody read it to me.
I'm a sophomore in high school, and throughout my whole school life I've had difficulties in math, but I'm extremely good at writing and reading and have won a few awards for my essays.
I love Tobias Wolff, I used to live near where "Our Story Begins" is set. He recommends "So Long, See You Tomorrow" by William Maxwell. I recommend "Matterhorn: A Novel of the Vietnam War", by Karl Marlantes. It's the greatest book I've ever read.
What a guy, what a writer. Just gobbled up his memoir in less than a day--what a treat.
Lovely voice. Full of wisdom.

Very inspirational!
what a great personality and splendid advice.
I can really relate to this.... I'm in computer science atm and doing horribly. I was never good at math, yet I'm really good at writing...
