- In this video you will watch a full owner review of the 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO. This truck gives you the best that utility and comfort has to offer with a sporty side that you are bound to enjoy. Leave a like and comment. Also, subscribe for my next car review.
The Tacoma TRD Pro comes with a 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 278 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual is the default, and a six-speed automatic is available at extra cost. All-wheel drive is standard. Towing capacity maxes out at a respectable 6,400 pounds.
The TRD Pro's beefy all-terrain tires are great for mud and gravel, but not so good for fuel economy. Last year, the EPA estimated fuel economy for the TRD Pro at only 17/20 mpg city/hwy.
Truck Stats:
Horsepower: 278 hp
Engine: 3.5 L V6
Bed length: 60″
MSRP: From $47,685
MPG: Up to 18 city / 22 highway
Curb weight: 4,465 to 4,550 lbs.
The Tacoma's safety equipment is excellent for a pickup, and the TRD Pro is no exception. Standard features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beams. The TRD Pro also comes with a sophisticated stability and traction control system, which can be partially disabled.
Last year's Tacoma performed fairly well in crash testing. It earned a four-star overall rating from the NHTSA, and the IIHS rated it Good in all categories aside from small overlap testing on the passenger side.
The TRD Pro gets an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. Also included are a 4.2-inch driver display, three USB ports, wireless charging, and a six-speaker sound system. When you hit the dirt, the TRD Pro has a surround-view trail camera system to avoid rocks and obstacles.
good review. I just bought a 2023 Taco, TRD off road with only 13K miles!
He’s got the micro fiber in hand, he loves the truck haha.
Haha oh yes he does.
Last year of the Tacoma. New ones don’t even look like a Tacoma. Little tundra 1st gens are what I keep hearing.
Great review. I found a '22 Tacoma TRD Pro with only 8,440 miles on it. Can't wait to pick it up next week!
Getting a all black 2021 pro soon. It looks awesome.
OCD cleaning truck in real time on cam, “can’t wait to get it dirty”. The contradiction is real 😂. I feel you bro 🤜 🤛
😂
Given there are literally hundreds of thousands of Tacomas on the road you can’t drive 5 minutes without seeing one. I wanted a Pro to have a little exclusivity and it was a great call!
Congrats!
My reservation about leasing a truck is the bed. I need to occasionally haul mulch or gravel which will cause wear and tear on the bed. I’m curious how much they try to bill you for when you turn in after the lease.
This truck is so rad!
I agree!
Sold me on the truck 😂 good review
Thank you!
Good video 👍👍
Thank you!
How do you get under $700 a month payment with $13000 down payment? Interest rate and terms? Thanks
got mine at 5.5% interest 13,000 down and it was 686 sale price was 48,900 out the door I cant remember.
I have one just like that one on order 😊
I hope that you enjoy it! It's a great truck.
How much did you pay out the door?
Nice truck but I am very tired color gray colors inside and out like greens browns car companies need stop making grays enough already
How’s the head room. Also did you pay msrp? I can’t find one at the dealership without the crooks marking them up.
Head room is pretty great. As long as you agent 7 feet tall you should be fine.
I stand 6'1"ajd I hadlots if head took in the 2021 black colored Tacoma TRD pro truck that it's drove last Saturday. If the previous owner had not smokes heavily in it I could have bought it for 52 grand with least hen 40k mileage on it.
@@Autoabundance I'm 5'9, Vietnamese, and the current Tacoma is too small. Like it is doable for off-roading, but it so much smaller than a Chevy Colorado. The 24 is bigger but still small in its class.
How much was this truck out the door?!? Please respond
I got a grey one for 46k plus tax yesterday. They want all 2023s gone before the year
"Okay but is it fine if I clean the truck while I show you around?"
BSM = Blind Spot Monitoring
Thank you! You are correct.
I would if I did spend all my money in used cars over the years
How difficult would it be to have a good wench added to the front bumper?
That's a good question! Typically with a wench I've only seen Tacomas with a all metal reinforced bumper.
Just bought a mgm color lol
You farted in the video 😂😂😂😂😂
Ram a brotha with a taco n not a stupid impala or Cadillac on 22s
😂
It’s going to get old walking around with a rag constantly wiping off that white truck
😂
Do you like the solar burst colored Tacoma TRD PRO? I have a chance to buy one. Thunking abour trading in mt 2023 Tacoma TRD OR truck on that TRD pro.
Just debating on waiting to drive a 2024 Tacoma with the more powerful 2.7 liter turbo 4 cylinder engine and upgraded 8 speed automatic transmission. Plus the driver seating position is supposed to be higher up now. That iss very important improvement as I am a big guy at 6'1" tall weighing 335 lbs.
I have a chance to buy a 6MT solar orange TRD Pro….checked it out. Not sure that I can handle that colour for the long term…maybe when I was in my early 20s….Lol
Now I’m on the hunt for Magnetic Grey….
Step outta the box with the Solar Octane 🍊😍
😂. I completely get you.
Are you saying the new seating position is going to be better or worse for taller guys? I’m 6’3”.
@@cervelott Apparently better, roof is slightly higher and floor slightly lower so seat height increased on the new one.
