      @@agoddamnferret Just search for *Space Engineers* on TH-cam. After watching all those videos, you'll see that it is worth it.

    Ya could always use the nanite deconstruction beacon on the ships that get shot down. that way you can do other things until you get a salvage ship.

    Your missiles were hitting each other sometimes, rather than being shot down.

    The large connector on the bottom of the regular cockpit is hugely valuable because it allows the pilot's seat to be connected to inventory and parts can move through large connectors. That means you can actually place blocks from the cockpit when you're flying a welding utility vehicle. On the other hand between the build&repair mod and the nanite control factory mod you're never going to find a use for a welding utility vehicle.

    Stick projectors on the solar tower leaves with their own grid blueprints. Then the nanite should auto repair them.

    I'd use the projection table to show your whole tower/city/base and use it as example (decorative) a 'damage report' or something, like in the movies where they project their ship/base on such tables and see it flashing, would be kinda cool if you'd see the atlantis city from stargate on it

      There is a blueprint on the workshop of Atlantis. It's huge though. Totally borked my game when I crashed it into a planet.

    You could use the nanites to dismantle the salvage ships

    I think that instead of the missiles being shot down I think that they were to close to each other and blew the other up

    I wonder, could you drop a small nanite center attached to a reactor, some cargo containers, and a landing gear on top of enemy bases and let it go to work? Or would it be too much power for little gain?

    Looks like it is time to test a jump ship drone so you can have an ice hauler from the Terran planet.

    > Has a shield
    > Has 3 rotor turrets
    > Is still afraid to get close to enemy turrets
    If you want to only shoot the turrets, not the base, you can jump out of cockpit, while still in the shield, and shoot them with your rifle. Not sure shields will stay that long tho

    wow the new artificial horizon in the LCD's is so much better than the one on the HUD. I might actually use first person now!
    Also I'm guessing the large arrow is, like you guessed, is a resolution advisory from the game's collision avoidance system indicating the best direction to move to avoid a collision

    If anyone can help. I've downloaded the reentry mod that he uses but my heat reading from the api is halfway off my screen does anyone know how to move that around?

      You can access a graphical settings menu with Alt + F10 if Text HUD API is loaded.

    Great Series so far only discovered you only 3 days ago (subbed) and have caught up already, btw your design of your fighter reminds me of "The Blackbird" from Battlestar Galactica

    New to SE if have a minute to reply - wondering if that big autoturret is a blueprint I can download from workshop? And also do you have rough idea how much ammo that main turret used during attack - did you just fill a Cargo Container with ammo and use conveyor to feed it essentially endless supply? Thanks for any help/info

    With the projector i can see people building statues and such and use the projector to make floaty decorations

    you should put some decoys out away from your base that will get attacked first.. you can set them in heavy armor and it will take awhile for them to get destroyed.

    stations dont despawn even unpowerd but you can convert to ship and walk away for them go be trashed by game :)

    you need a salvaging tank, just a vehicle with a huge mobile shredder plade to put over salvage

    You have a nanite factory. Why not use it to salvage?

    You need a small ship with build and repair units on it so you can deconstruct those dead ships quickly

      He doesn't use Build & Repair. He uses the Nanite factory, which is way too big and power/parts hungry for that task.

    why does your ship not fully hover like your other ones? Not enough thrusters?

      I think it's something to do with the subgrids for the turrets. Like the thrusters are putting out enough to keep the ship stationary but don't factor in the weight of the turrets so it slowly sinks.

    so just found this series and have had SE for a very long time now but never seemed to get into it, downloaded the mod pack your using but trying to figure out how you start on the planet with just that ship instead of a big af base on earth

      I started playing because of this series too, so I just came through the same trouble. When you start a new world, scroll all the way down the list on the left and select "star system" instead of "'earth planet" up at the top. Then you'll have options when you start the game to pick the starting ship, and location of your spawn (which planet). That's the kind of world we're watching Kana play in.

    Somebody can tell how can i made it to get a enemy outpost on Moon? Because in my world no enemy on the Moon.

    Have you experimented with the deconstruction beacons to have the nanites salvage that ship for you? I'm curious about your thoughts on that.

      I have tired them out but found the deconstruction rate to be painfully slow compared to just grinding it down with my tools or a salvage ship

    You know if you don't like how boxy the rotor turret is you can use conecters on the arms not convaer junctions
