That is a stunning bike in great condition for its age. I’m currently restoring one of these, the previous owner left it sitting outside for years. I actually owned one of these for about 10 years and loved every minute of it, glad I’ve got one again 👍
It's Fantastic bike I own the same model zx6r but Red/black paint. It is a joy to ride very fast and comfy. 76 000km on the clock. I love Ninja more than my ex Gixxer and Yamaha R6 ;)
Sure it’s the zzr600 fairing bracket for the 2005 to 2008 us market bike. Do a quick search on eBay, it’s about £30 and you remove clock bracket, bird cage and attach replacement fairing bracket to the clocks and mirrors in one unit. It’s good, mirrors vibrate a bit more but worth it
reset odometer after filling with fuel I have the exact same bike never go over 100 miles before refuelling I adore mine p.s go down 1 tooth on front sprocket
I bought a J1 in February that had been dropped. I've now rebuilt it as a streetfighter. What an awesome machine which is so comfortable and fun! The odd thing is it's a 2005 reg J1?
@@kfkwAL7 the exhaust has been chopped & welded. It's a cracker ae a yoshimura, just poorly done. I'm removing art from my other j1 & get it sorted. Apart from that, rides like an absolute beast 😈❤️🔥
Hey dude, love the bike! Any more info on where you got the faring stay for the bird cage delete? Get my ZX6 in a couple of weeks and it's the first thing I want off it! Thanks in advance 👍

Use the same headlight bracket used in the a1p 636 as it’s a direct bolt on. I actually went the other way and on my 2002 636 and took mine off to swap over to the bird cage for the retro look.
Reset your trip meter whenever you fill up and use that as your fuel gauge.
Just got a zx6r G2....love it. Wish there were more vidoes on these older bikes. Mine is an absolute weapon and clean as hell.
I know. Not everyone wants to pcp or spend 8 grand on a bike... Just been out nearly all day today. No sore wrists, no bad back, just an empty tank!
@@kfkwAL7 exactly...im having just as much fun and freedom as anyone with a 6k+ bike..😁
For older bikes... drop by buddy. :)

Me too. Restoring it back to its glory.
It's great bike to ride and looks so good for 20 years old .
It’s aged well hasn’t it! Light, nimble, quick and reliable

Yes. 21 years old this year, unbelievable isn’t it
I dreamed of Ninja in the 90s. :) Can check it.
I've owned one for bit over a year" I can hands down say it's one of the most reliable underestimated 600 Ive ridden they are a great bike all round
Nice! I owned one for a while. It was too hard on my knackered wrist but I really enjoyed it nonetheless! Very, very quick & great handling bike 👍👍👍
Lovely videos and a great bike I own a zx6r j2 2001 in green love it
I actually smiled when you revved it , felt like a kid again 😁 (owned a 636 b1h model - top kawasaki bikes)
I know. I regretted it after I sold earlier this year, it’s recently come back up for sale with another 5,000 miles and a few scrapes…
Great looking bike. :) The silver is just spot on as the green one. :) Nicely done video. Gave you the 77th like. :)
Looking at getting one of these. Wasn't expecting to see a video made 2 minutes from home
Lovely bike
I see the new owner has it for sale not far from here too
I've got the same bike but in green and also in Edi. Found you're vid looking for mod ideas!
Great bike's, did 90000k on mine
How did you do the birdcage delete? Could you possibly post a video on here? Cheers 🎉

I can get 150 out of mine, im sure after playing with the gearing jm sure I'm closer to 120, but definitely keep the tank full lol

@@kfkwAL7 it was registered in Germany in 2005 and then brought to the uk in 2007?
How did you get rid of the ‘Birdcase’? I could only find the one suitable for the zx9r..
Fuel light is in the gage cluster
Nice
Where did you get the crash bungs?
Cool Video! Do you still own the bike?
